Hey guys,

This is my lemon skunk. She is about 51 days in flowering and she's getting more light green everyday, with her yellow leaves increasing. She's suffering from nitrogen deficiency but I don't know if it is the right time for that to happen.Plz tell me what you think!I have no idea what's happening and I don't want to lose her :/

Peace!

You wont lose her, if you are worried about it the next time you feed her any nutes give her a little nitrogen as well to get her color back:eyesmoke:

She is nearly ready and is drawing up excess N from the roots. I think this is a 56 day 12:12 flower so ur nearly there. Looks perfectly fine and at this stage nothing you can do. You should flush now with pure water 3 times the pots size and then leave to dry. Usually 7- 10 day flush in soil. Last feed should have been a few days ago.

ps I have grown lemon skunk in the past

Thanx mate!
I have never flushed a skunk plant before. Is it safe to do that? For how many days do I have to do it in order to see improvement?

You have about 7 days after you flush it. You will prob only water a little bit after 3-4 days. Go to the advanced search and look up flushing in soil. I would use normal water and on the last few litres I would PH it at 6.5 (in soil). If you haven't fed it for ages then it could just be a 5 day flush. You will find loads of info on the site for this.

Haha, your freaking out over nothing brochacho :)
Your plant looks fine, dont add Nitrogen, dont add anything.
Stop adding any fertilizer and start watering it with reverse osmosis water and add a tsp of sugar for every gallon for the remaining time it has. Then a couple days before you chop her down, giver her a good flush and youll have your self some good lookin homegrown dank :)

I just flushed her but not with much water(about half of the quantity you suggest).I'll just wait and see how it goes.I also measured the soil's ph and it is 7.5.Maybe she needs one more flushing and she'll be fine!I hope everything will work out!

RO is water that is filtered down to 0 parts per million ppm. Flushing agents like FloraKleen will help it flush better.

Trust Me She is 100%, you could push that plant till every leaf falls off, 15 weeks from now and she would only be danker...

I would say its normal. get a micro scope or magnifying glass and look at the tricholmes if they are cloudy and not clear its time to chop if the are amber its going down hillView attachment 2073794. if you still have a bunch of white hairs dont flush yet. I don't know what the flower time is on lemon skunk btw

Hang on !! This isn't good. You have PH 7.5 which means a lot of nutes can be absorbed and will BE LOCKED IN THE SOIL !! You need to lower the Ph (at least on the last bucket of flush) at around PH6.0. This way it will hopefully be around PH 6.5 and then use up whats stored in the roots and soil. This is the whole point of flushing - u want teh plant to use up everything, incl N,which at PH 7.5 will be impossible. FLUSH AT PH 6.0 NOW TO REDUCE IT!!

Your brain is probably in overload with all the different advise that has been given because every grower has their own ways. What I can add to the cooking pot is that I grow lemon and everybody loves it.

Apart from your PH being a bit high (next feed give ph 5.5 until heavy run off), don't do anything else to it. Defo no Nitro at this late stage. I don't flush, I don't cut the nutes and it's perfect every time. Stop watering 3 days before chop and thats it. You don't have to listen to me but thats how I do it and I never get any complaint. 4-5 days drying, no cure needed (with my pheno anyhows) and it's a lovely sweet smelly fucker.

No Strain NEEDS a CURE or a FLUSH, people do it to improve what is already GREAT...

you should try it sometime..

I do, just the lemon doesn't need it. Smells, looks and tastes great without a cure. Blue cheese on the other hand is decidedly average without a cure. Wind ya neck in old boy, if I insulted you in anyway then I apologise.

No not offended at all! Just saying we grow KILLER SLH and its Amazing right off the stick. But thats my problem with so many growers that get lucky enough to stumble on CANTFUCKUP genetics, they ignore the simple things that could take there weed to another level mostly because it pushes itself right out the door and is practically sold two weeks before its harvested... And thy will continue to support that because they continue to make money... I just dont get doing AMAZING work 90% of the way to PISS all over the last crucial parts that have science and reason in them just to sell product at a 10% overage in water weight and two weeks sooner.

Product made like that will never be Legendary just another normal version of SLH, but then again who cares its just bud right..?
