PM on newly rooted clones

They took about an extra week to root, now I'm seeing PM.... I've had very mild PM in my grow areas for about a month now, but kept it under control using Athena IPM. Whats the next steps? How often can I spray with Athena IPM and how late into flower and how much on a barely rooted plant? Can I get another product to alternate with the Athena?

Never had PM in my 8 years of growing and I got my air ducts in my house cleaned and I get PM. I wonder if thats the reason or just a coincidence.

Toss out all your plants, clean everything, make sure humidity/airflow is good and restart from seed.
You may be able to suppress symptoms for a bit but it will never go away fully/keep popping up. It's a nightmare.
Not worth the $ in treatments and none of those sprays are meant to be combusted and inhaled.
Most are oil based and oil can't be rinsed off.

I haven't seen any on the buds and its mild on the leaves. Is it true that some kinds of PM don't go on the buds and only stay on the leaves? ...Why start from seed? ... Are there any strains out there that are PM resistant?

What is your day and night temps in the grow space? I found that keeping the night temps within 5 degrees from lights on temps works wonders. Worth a looking into. Even if you need to use a small space heater and an Ink-Bird and then yes air flow. I don’t have any fans blowing in my tent just my carbon setup and a passive intake but I keep temps real close

You also want to ensure your RH is not out of wack either. If you have low RH, even a swing of 10 degrees would not create PM

Start from seed so you can avoid disease and pest from clones you take in.
Almost every clone I've got from any source, ended up having pm or pest. Not worth it.

I bought a small ozone generator to run between grows. It's safe as long as you aren't stupid and know the potential hazards.

Filtering all your intake ports with HEPA grade air purifier filters works pretty good, as a preventative anyway. Can't have PM spores germinating on the leaves when fresh incoming filtered air is always being blown at them. Like being in a laminar flow hood in a way.

Once you get it though, any air movement (even filtered to 99.99%) will just keep blowing it around, creating an endless cycle. Its almost not worth the battle, and better to start fresh, keeping it from ever happening. IMO..

I like ACV. I spray that stuff everywhere as a cleaner. It reeks but the smell goes away soon, and leaves a film (w/ the mother & acetic acids) that keeps fungus from growing. Kills PM too, and is natural like citric acid.

You could dunk the smaller clones upside down in a more concentrated solution of diluted apple cider vinegar (or citric acid water, etc) and rub all the leaves to really smear it in, for a much better application than spraying. Don't make it too strong though, be careful. That stuff will strip the mildew right off your shower walls, or the foot fungus right out from between your toes, lol.

You can't really do much once your in flower, without coating buds with anything. Even if you only spray the leaves the best you can, there's still gonna be mildew ending up in the buds, even if you don't see it. That's the main reason to start over I guess... If your in veg, it might be worth fighting for?

Temps are about the same at 66 degrees in grow area, warmer in the tent when lights are on up to maybe 70... Humidity is 50%.
