Pocket microscope, where to buy in canada

ok ok i know radioshack has one but theres one problem, radioshack is not in canada. the source as far as i know doesnt have them.. is there any store in canada that i could go to, to buy one? or a website with low shipping rates or free shipping

i think you can get them on the dna genetics website... they call it the 420scope, but it looks identical to the one that i got from radio shack... not sure about there shipping prices..

Your best bet is to buy a vintage school microscope cheap on ebay. The difference is amazing, like being in a forest of trichs. Look for Baush & Lomb, Spencer and Tasco. I just got a like new Tasco for $15.

Yup, i got the 420 from my hydroshop. Wayyyy better than the 30x i recommened from amazon.

Here's an example of a vintage school scope. It will probably sell for $25 shipped. This will blow any pocket microscope away. This was made to withstand the use of high school kids back when things were well made. i dont understand how the 42o scope on dna's site is a sticker? i don't get it???? i just went and double checked my bad advice, and there it was.. 17.99 euros.. that is a pretty expensive sticker..

The scope from radio shack is the EXACT same microscope except the 420 scope has the sticker on it saying "420 scope"
Well that sticker and the 18 dollar price difference. I bought the one from radio shack, I don't need to spend an extra 18 dollars for it to say 420 scope

i take it you didnt read the op;s original post.. he said he lives in canada, and they don't have radio shack there, and was looking for an alternative place to buy one.. if you ask me, dna is an alternative to radio shack, no? he wasn't asking where he could buy the cheapest microscope he could find..
but i agree with you.. i bought mine from radio shack, but then again, i don't live in canada..

All canadian radioshacks are now "The source".They changed over due to radio shacks policy on selling stuff apparentlythey were only allowed to sell there stock. And that did not float well

ohh umm what would be best for trichome viewing is 30X good enough to see them or do i need 60X.. i have better than 20/20 vision so what would be more soutible
