PoE Network Switch as a small COB driver?

Maybe someone has asked this before, but it was something I thought about last night. Just curious if a PoE switch would work for a driver for a small COB like a Bridgelux Vero 10. I have experience working with PoE switches for office phones, security cameras, and wireless access points, but I'm not big into the technical specs. Seems like they are made for a continuous duty cycle.

The first pic is the specs from a $42 TP-Link 8 (4 PoE) port switch.

Any thoughts? Could make for a pretty clean installation.

Very well could be that's why I asked. I'm still very new to all of this. Aren't even the cheapest drivers ~$10? If all you were trying to drive were 4 x Vero 10s, should be able to get 15.4w per port. Was thinking very much of the clean install. I have all the RJ45 ends, cable and crimper tools I need. It's part of what I do for a living. I even have an unused PoE switch sitting in my office.

The only thing I don't have in hand is the Vero 10s.

Again, it was just a thought I had last night. Like most of those, they don't go anywhere. :)

You can use it, but it's not optimal in any way and it's rather expensive.

Search around a bit, gather some information and learn about how to drive high power LEDs. Feel free to ask any questions :)
