point of autos

i dont really understand the point of auto flowering seeds. they are low yield, you cant clone them or make new seeds, at least not that i know of. im not dissing autos, i ask this question with the best of faith. the only advantages i can think of is stealth and time saved, but is that time really worth it when you get grow something with a much higher yield and produce clones and seeds to keep going and not have to order more seeds. isnt it far more worth it to wait that extra month or 2 for even a low yielding strain which will still give you more than an auto would and probably be just as potent if not even better. also you cant rejuvenate the autos. i have a lot of experience growing otherwise, but as far as autos, i have nothing. again i am not dissing autos, i think it is actually really cool that they crossed sativas/indicas with a ruderalis just to try something new. i just dont understand the point of it besides micro grows and stealth setups. thanks

I don't think there really is any other point in growing them. You pretty much answered your question.

I'm growing an auto bubblelicious. I'm pretty sure it won't auto like a lot of Nirvana Bubblelicious I've seen do.

just to let you know you can get seeds from autos

if you are someone that always grows from seed you can put an auto in when the plants are veging and that would just about be ready when you put your normal ones into the flower schedule

You took what i was going to say.Alot of people seed the autos they have and get seeds to plant again. If you can get 1oz while you have plants vegging under the same light whats the problem??Thats just more bud along the way.At least thats how i look at it.I got some autos that i will be starting soon in my veg room with my fem seeds. That should be fun.

My latest-finishing autos were done by July 4 (my first complete grow). If I was greatly concerned about LEO or thieves, it would be the only thing I would grow.

another good advantage to autos is that you can have a number of plants at diffrent stages all under one light regiment because they will bloom under 18h light so theres no faffing around with photoperiod , or hermies due to light stress

I think the idea behind autos, is so that you don't have to have a seperate bloom and veg room, with different lighting schedules. Think about it, it'd be really nice to have everything in one big room, starting, vegging, harvesting, under the same light setup. Harvest one, and slide another into it's place. I was going to try a vertical grow like that. EverytimeIharvested a plant, I was going to put a young one in it's place, and be harvesting perpetually, with only one growroom. It'd work great, if autos were reliable, and yielded well. Also, the main reason I passed on it, is because you can't clone them, and didn't want to be buying seeds forever.lol
