iv been looking into FLIR detection an well what iv read is if somthing is reflective say a mirror when the flir or inferred beans picks up what ever is reflected init say like sky temps but FLIR cant see threw windows let alone threw walls its heat they pick up so unless your lights is warming up your roof your fine.
C3 anti-detection film:
A specialized type of mylar that exhibits the same properties as the 2mm thick mylar, but in addition to reflecting approximately 92-97% of the light, it also is 90% infrared proof, making your grow room all but invisible to IR scanning.

Dude a 400 is tiny your fine. But I'd they are using a flir on you then they are already investigating you, and are already fucked.
Mate, helicopters are always in the air around here, lots of open greenland and country parks for scum to trash with nicked motors.
Was wondering if it would be detectable if the helicopter was hovering in the area? Big greenland on my doorstep.

Just covering my ass mate before i get my first grow on the go ;)

You will be fine with a 400w They would be spending thousands more than what they get out of your grow. You could also grow a tomato plant with them just in case you have to ditch the plants you can say Im growing a tomato. brick top may be on to something.C3 anti-detection film:

I have not yet heard anyone state the obvious... Having an HID lamp burning in your house is not proof of growing Cannabis... Alot of people have indoor veggie gardens so even if they did hit you with infrared they would still have to prove it was for Cannabis to secure a search warrant. And considering the point that they have to have a warrant to hit your house with a heat gun in the first place, why would they bother? Like posted earlier, Odor control Odor control Odor control...

Sorry but there is no such thing as sizzelean screen, I had toys in the military that could spot the heat from a mouse through 18 inches of solid concrete you ain't gonna hide and HID if they wanna see it. I don't care how much $$$ you spend.
