Amen to all that. That's how most people get caught doing other shit as well.. by word of mouth. And what really makes me wonder about people.. is when they're the ones that opened their mouths about what they did.. or what they're doing in the first place.

All it takes is for the other person to say one thing.. and it just keeps going until you get busted. Eventually the word of mouth will get to the wrong person.. and end up taking that person down.

Kinda like a domino effect...

If you just keep your business to yourself.. you'll be good.

Being a Plumber, just thought it would be benificial to let u know that your water heater also vents hott air out of the house, as well as your furnace (if you are running it). Find it tough to believe that infared could distinguish between a grow room, and just a water heater, or furnace vent.

But then again....this is just my opinion. :)

you should watch Barry Cooper's How Not to Get Busted 2: How Not to Get Raided,
he shows some FLIR (Forward looking infrared) footage and explains that the police can NOT tell that it is a grow room, as long as you vent the heat from the same place as the exhaust for something like a clothes dryer, an air conditioner, etc.

you know what freaks me out .. this site...
you dont think police could just look and see where your sending the photos and posts from ..
i could do that if i tried hard enough .. so whats stopping them ... if you dont want to get busted .. dont use RIU to post ANYTHING from the place you grow pot ....

if you're using a tent, venting into a room would evenly disperse the heat through the whole room and tent, causing temps to drop durastically.

that being said, if the temps are too hot in the room, i find it much easier to vent the heated air into another room, thus equalizing the temps and further dispersing the heat.

To be completely honest with you though, i wouldnt worry so much about the exhaust being spotted with a FLIR unless you have reason to be 'Under Suspicion' by the police, FBI, DEA, etc.

Then you should be good to do your business worry free, however, if someone in your neighborhood is "bringin' the heat" then you should be a little more cautious.

Like a previously said a bit of "parranoia" doesnt go wrong in this business, "Loose lips, sink ships", anyway you dont want to share your grow with no one.

so far only my girlfriend and my father knows... (he is letting me grow in his house for half the share)
mainly because i my friends rent and they often get random visits from the landlord unexpected...

so yeah dont worry i have many a photo of my girlfriend with pot/plants/baggies and scales.... and none of me
sop if she decided to split i know she will keep shtum, i would just be like .. nah its nothing to do with me..prove it. i doubt she would split though im paying for her uni with some of the proceeds .... hehe

and i dont even dare sell it myself.. i go though someone who goes through someone who knows the dealers... i dont want them to even know my name let alone what i look like.. i wouldnt trust them as far as i could throw them .. they would hand a grower over instantly if it got them off the hook.... friends included.
