Did you fall down and hit your head? Hell yes you'll have a good time. Too bad I didn't know they were on tour until it was too late for me to get tickets outside of having to spend a day on a plane. I was kinda peeved at my lady friend for not bringing that one up. Now she's hinting around about wanting to see the fucking Cure.
Roger is one hell of a frontman. I'm a metal person through and through but The Who is in there with the small circle of non metal groups I enjoy.
Also enjoy the show. Don't be one of those douche bags that sit there through the whole show taking crappy vids with your phone and missing out on the whole experience. Leave that in your car. The audio will be garbage anyways.
Every concert/show I go to there's a good 5/10 people holding their phones up.

I think you died and you are seeing them in yhe afterlife bro.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news
Actually...not any more. I just got a new LG G5 and took a couple pics and one brief vid at a VERY loud Trower gig recently and it came out crystal clear. Seriously. I was kinda shocked when I played it the next day.

True dat. There's many Prince cell phone videos on YT that sound surprisingly good. These latest phones' cameras and audio quality are amazing...

I agree for the most part. But don't hate on these people: because of them you and I can just enjoy the show AND download it later when they post their vids on YT. Win/win ;)

totally agree. I prefer to actually BE at the concert. Did my share of seat dancing. Luckily we were in an isle so I could be on my feet.
So I didnt get out of bed until 11. Seriously tied one on.

started with beer:

I got the girly sampler:

Then some yuppie beer joint;

Then downshifted to a bag of Dick's

Then more beer, weed, edibles, weed lather, rinse repeat. (and pizza and wings) and ended up back at Dick's around 1 a.m.

so how good was the show?

THEY KILLED IT!! The whole Arena was filled w/ bud smoke. Was like being at a concert decades ago in that respect. Loved it. Could smoke right in your space too.

-Daltry skill level: fucking wizard. I expected is voice too be a bit rough or maybe not as strong, but I was pleasantly wrong. Yes he did the yell in baba o'reily, yes he twirled the old school mike and flipped it around. He was a bit bent and bow legged but looked spry and moved so well I forgot he was 72.

-Townshend: while didn't play as intricately as he is known for, still amply fulfilled the guitar solos with flawless technique and expert musicality.

-did part of the whole side of Quadrophenia...I can die a happy woman. Heard Love Reign O'r Me

-Starky gave a more than respectable drum performance considering the shoes he has to fill. No one like Moon though. Starky has his own style to set him apart bit doesn't take away from overall sound

-bassist: Townshend's brother... worked it.

Did I mention Daltry? Still can't believe they went over 2 hours. What a fucking show man!

Worth every penny spent. Still can't get over it. Great crowd too. Somehow we were surrounded by guys in their late 20's early 30's who knew every word. Was cool. Come to think of it, I was the only girl in our section. There was one other, but she was young and not too into it. Her man was though. I could hear him singing in my ear the whole time. It was cool though, He was having a great time and was thankfully on key.

OH yeah Daltry did a harmonica solo at the end of Baba O' riley in place of the epic violins solo that brought the house down. He kept up with the increasing tempo and the drums and OMG it was fucking epic!
