pollinating AUTO flowering female plant questions

Hey guys, I have some pollen collected from 3 different varieties and want to get back to growing AUTO's in between my Regular plants.

I see that finding un-feminized auto seeds seems to be a problem, so has any one tried and is it workable to put pollen on the flowers after they start coming out on week 3 or 4 and see if they will make the plant produce seeds ?

the second question would be gibberellic acid or the silver solution around the same time ?

now that I'm on my 3rd planting with fruition and learning more every day, I think this is now become my obsession as I come home and want to take care of my babies ;) don't go on the net that much anymore and it's all I have on my mind.

I have 7 female plants that will be ready to harvest by the end on March , and have a fresh planting of CBD rich HArle-Tsu plants , I want to see if I get males from that one and collect it and use down the road with Autos, for the time being I have lots of pollen from the Silver Surfers, the Black Domina x OG (Humbolt) and some Skunk

let me know if you have tried this

These are Regs..Not Fems and pretty cheap!

Pretty sure you would get some "Males" & "Fems" from just one pkt...kinda why I got them...amongst other reasons...want to move into Autos and also maybe try and make some Auto seeds

THANKS not bad at all, will place a order tomorrow ,just installed the bit coin full app yesterday and it just finally got caught up. I'm feeling really OLD lately, I don't understand how bitcoins works , but will start by buying 5 dollars worth of bit coins and see how that goes, if not I will use my one and only card that belongs to my bank , but I hate to do it. did it once with SOS seeds and worried like crazy about it, but all went well.


I still want to know if any body has done the putting pollen on autoflowering plats and what the results were. thanks again for this link price is right!

Hiya burnedout1958, that's Ok man If I can help OR have some Info/Experience on something I always try n share...I mean that's how I learnt from others as well as from my own experiences and research.

If you do get some of these ^^^^^^ from Herbies, you can trust em and they pretty quick and do a Stealth Option on Delivery IF you need it..By-The-By I don't work for them LOL...just the one and only SeedBank I've tried so far...and don't see any reason for me to go elsewhere...and I have look at others...pretty interested in MrNice Seeds and TGAGenetics..oh and Jorge Cervantes Diamonds.

Sorry I can't Help with the pollen issue...somebody on RIU should get back to you about that...bet someones tried it....

Aye up m8, nah I don't sleep...well not much....and not when I should! been happening for about a year now? Tis mad used to be up at 5am do 12 shift then run around visiting peeps & smoking n chilling...go bed and get up n do it all over again....:lol:

N Yeah I spend too long on RIU, Growing has become a bit of a obsession......

I placed a order right after you gave me the link, great price and they are regular, I want to try and make my own, plud autos are great for a 2 month turn around of instant gratification

update the plants are 3 months plus old and so far no pistils no sacs , huston we have a huge problem NOT auto plants repeat not auto.

but when they do mature I will try to do a follow up post on harvest and smoke just wasted my time growing something that I can not cross with what I wanted to cross with

I've done the silver spray to turn a auto fem male get the pollin and slap it on another fem auto. Once you see a good amount of white hairs I say give her a little dusting, but as for when maybe to late? It all depends on the strain/pheno as well as your personal desire on ripeness but seeds auto or photo take aroun 4-5 weeks. General strong hold is average 8 weeks flower so if your at 4 there shouldn't be a problem, I find that most flowers are not finished at week 8 but rather at the begging stages of being ready (ripe enough). Push comes to shove your girls an early girl just leave a few branches with the pollin on it and let them go. Good luck buddy.


Oh ya and that silver is gnarly on your baby, she looks like death through the process but comes back right as your about to lose hope. Took about 3-4 weeks for change from when I saw sign of flowering and started spraying to when I saw the first set of balls.

Read posts on here about which seed bank to use but I've used a couple "Auto Seeds" ( it's the brand/company that produces auto seeds) they are good quality and a rep company won a good amount of cups. Bummer on your waist of time sorry man. Get Fems and try the silver out just plant one like 3 weeks after the first and you should have the pollin ready when the girl is

So u want to make ur own auto flower strain is this correct? Any male will pollinate ur girls if u wanna make femm seeds u need stress a girl till she hermies then u get female female genes thats what femm seeds r

That or using silver spray on foilage, as well as letting a harvest go past ripened flowers will induce seeding as long as it is or used to be a girl your seeds will Fems

Might want to get that sleep thing looked at. Its a real issue if not able to sleep man. I've been there due to apnea and it damn near ruined my life! Went to a sleep doctor and was put on a c-pap. Feel great now and able to function. Take care!

I would think colloidal silver or the other stuff lol (not sure what its called) would be your best bet to produce seeds. There are a few people on here that do produce their own auto seeds. Head over to the auto section and post a few questions. Is the pollen you have from a reg seed? How old and how have you stored it? If its from a reg male its gonna be a major crap shoot as to the final product i would think.
