Popcorn buds??

Hey, this is my first grow and Im currently on my 16th day of flowering and I got all my starter buds popin out everywhere.. as seen below I tried to show how many branchs I havent trimmed because people say bushy plants are a good thing. They are being grow in an ebb and flow 2x2 hydro system in a grow tent. This is of course an indoor grow and they are currently under a 600w hps light.

Can anyone tell me if these plants are going to yield because I have nothing to compare them too. I have cut off many of the bottom banches which is why they are getting so tall.. but I think the 2 week stretch is over. ANYWAYS.. I just wanna know if Im going to get a bunch of little popcorn buds or if these are going to turn into some good sized colas.
They are all predominant indica strains from nirvana shop..

heres 2 more. Im trying to display how thick these girls are and how I left alot of branchs under the canapy intact because this is my first grow and I really dont know the proper way to prune and trim these things. Im probably going to do a scrog grow next time.

Those are some good looking girls right there! Good job on the grow so far man, keep it up! From what I can tell it looks like you are going to get some fat buds, no popcorn buds, but I am a rookie so don't quote me haha. I haven't grown under anything other than CFLs yet but from what I have seen and heard about HPS and HID lights don't produce popcorn buds if you are doing it all right and from the looks of your pictures you are doing everything perfect haha.

yeah your only 2 weeks in, those buds are gonna fill and fatten up for the next 5-8 weeks still... enjoy it and be patient...

Word. So these little buds fill up eh? Ive never buded a plant before and althought I smoke massive amounts of weed, I never got how the blooming process works. I just have so many bud sights on each plant including the ones under the canopy, I just get worried about the mass of the major colas.

yeah man they'll fatten up, go on youtube and look up a flowering cannabis time lapse. it'll ease your mind some

your only sixteen days, buckle down thell get there 100%

yah, the first 2 weeks or so of flowering, and you'll hardly see any kind of budding going on.. usually the first 2 weeks of flower is all in the stretch and not so much in the budding of the plants..
after say about the 4th week or so, you'll really start to see some nice buds forming, after that, they just get fatter and fatter and... lol.. also, the last two weeks or so of flower is when the buds will really pack on the weight.. they won't get much bigger in length say, but they will really get nice an fat in the last two or so weeks..

so, yah, 16 days, not much budding really, mostly all pistols, wait till about four or five weeks, and you'll start to see some nice bud formation going on, of course it all varies from strain to strain, but that is a nice rough guide to bud formation...
