Poppies

I would wait a few days and see who the best is and then thin out the runts/weaklings.

Also if you really are interested in indoor poppies you should check out mycotopia? think onthere or shroomery someone did a full grow and grew ~20 and got enough opium to smoke for one night lol, WAY more work than worth it indoors in most opinions.

Would be better off planting a few along the sidewalk randomly throughout your neighborhood.... and it looks nice for others :)

Careful of stem rot, don't water them from the top until they get to a couple of inches tall. Other than that, neglect is the best course of action. Even when they grow in dense patches they manage to sort themselves out pretty well.

But my biggest suggestion is . . plant more, you can never ever have enough

Neighborhood? lol I live in the middle of the woods.. literally. I will be planting an outdoor group soon.. i've got over a 700 seeds
Its more of an expression ;) Glad youll have plenty o room then

Read that hydro poppy link great log (best ive read thanks) and looks interesting but still if he hadnt lost plants thats 200 mid sized pods. ~200-250g of pods. Would be a cool experiment but if i could grow em out side i would.

They are quite lovely though.

Agree with the hydro, it isn't isn't worth the trouble and the money - this is a hobby for those with large hidden tracts of land.

There is one way however, as you can sprout poppy seeds on sprouting mats (sure to grow is nice). You will get a thick bed of sprouts, like an opium chia pet. The sprouts have minute amounts of opium in them, far more than the seeds coats. For those who have lots of seeds, try it out, a foot by foot mat will make enough for one cup of moderately potent tea.
