porable closet

i was looking at walmart and saw they sell portable closets for cheap do you think they would work for a grow would have to put some mylar or something up but just a thought for the guys on here on a budget looks like a tent mite not be safe tho havent really look into it much maybe something for you guys to look into

yup im sure if your a creative person you could make it work prob safer than growing in a cardbord box haha

on amazon you can get a legit grow tent for 60$ish. i think i'd rather just pay the extra 30 bucks and have it all set up with reflective walls and stuff. heh.just me though

haha hell yeah i get home expecting to be a fireman for the day tackling a blaze from my box lol But in the uk (where i am) they are cheap like £15-£25

I may have to try this out its intrigued me...

I think with something on the outside to make sure no light leaks in the dark period, and mylar inside, and CFL's like mentioned, would work OK, but I have been thinking of these, since I had one that was about 6' high, 4' deep, and 6' wide, and I also had one of the 4' high ones.http://www.uline.com/BL_3880/Storage-Sheds

i would go to home depot an get some 1/8 inch finishing wood an line the inside top to bottom but i would paint the side that rest against the fabric a dark color like black an the other flat white/the inside of ur grow box an then use some kind of sealant NOT CLEAR!!! an glue all the wood together so u would have no light leeks

Get the tent. Less work. Besides, if you ever feel like changing to HPS/LED you can. Not in those fire hazard closets. Perhaps in those storing bins, but you'd have to make your own holes and such. Still think it's way better to go the grow tent way. Trust me, you will regret it. I got one off amazon once, it was just problem after problem, to the point we couldn't even hang clothes up. There made cheaply. If you wanna grow in something like that, you gotta buy something that was made to grow in

I have a big plastic rubbermaid one i thought about using but its in use

,so I went ahead and made a wooden one.They both would work if you know what you doing(light proofing,exhaust), I guess it could be easily used as a veg chamber,good ideas to throw out anyways, grorite

where the hell can you get a closet for £25 cheapest i could find was on ikea for £60 and even then it looked shit

nah everything just costs too much in uk in comparison to the US.. i have been to the states and everything just seems so much cheaper. the VAT over here is 20%... pfff plus about 5000 other pointless taxes so in the end you are like with about 1/10 of your income cunting taxes
