whats goin on tonight? is there a full moon er somethin??? evrbodys got an axe to grind. hatin and cussin... all kinds of butt hurt.
I came here to bask in the positivity...hob nob wit mah happy hipsters....oh well...guess I'll open up a pint of rocky road and get busy.

On a positive note!! :)

I popped some pics around the yard the other evening, this one flower (Red Hot Poker) jumped up from out of nowhere, never seen one before! It's a pretty cool flower, also some hosta coming up, another hydrangea (color unknown just yet). There's a well established yellow rose and a nice bush rose blooming as we speak. The lady that owned this house before us knew NOTHING about grouping plants, arranging flower beds, etc there's stuff running together left and right (as you can see in a couple of the pics). She was a strange one, planted a tree right next to the front porch in the main flower bed that is getting really tall (must come out) and who plants thorny bushes next to pompass grass?

I'm telling ya's, its a mess, I've been working a little here and there to make sense of it all.

Cat got me a pink Mandevilla, 2 Japanese Maples, a Love lily (oriental) and a bluish purple hydrangea for Mother's day and my birthday. The Mandevilla is already climbing on the porch rails, it's going to be a lovely place to sit and wake up in the mornings! I've already repotted the maples and Mandevilla, going to put the hydrangeas in the ground in the next week or two.

I'll post pics of those later, after the rain stops and I can get some fresh shots. My (one and only) rooster had to pose for a pic :razz:
