hi rosey...miss ya
dittos!!
Lol that's funny because I hated it too:lol: for no reason really, its just different.
he hates it because he says its full of bugs and security issues. All he runs is Firefox even though he has the IE on here. I think everybody has IE though unless they choose to not install it with the OS

Chrome is written by google and tinychat is, now, a google product so they were, sort of, made to work together. My son writes a lot of Javascript and he runs only Chrome because of it's stellar developer interface.

Running unstable code in a product will quickly highlight a product's instability. I had to do a bug squash recently for him (on his way to Brazil and he'd just taken an app live). So I had to use Chrome and was surprised by the improvements. Previous to that I was with Cat and wouldn't use it. Security wise if you run an outgoing firewall and a script/virus/malware/popup blockers you should be good.

So if he hasn't tried it in awhile he might be pleasantly surprised. Be careful using IE it's a little to tied into the OS and Windows is not written on a secure base. Therefore I'm not sure about the security of the windows memory stack.

I'll let him know what you said, doubt it will make much difference though. He's a stickler ;)

I ran it on my laptop until I got a virus earlier this year. That's when we had the whole convo about it and I installed FIrefox, which is what he runs. I've found it works a lot better on my machine than Chrome did. The Chrome ate a shit ton of memory and tended to crash a lot. I never understood that..
