Alright guys, I was recently contacted by the Fraud department of my CC company. Apparently two charges were blocked, one for 1300$ and one for 720$, both were for Dell computers. My CC was also my debit, so the charges were blocked due to my insufficient funds and the fact that the charges were inconsistent with my payment history.
The reason I bring up Chronic and Attitude, and I would never place blame where it didn't belong, is the fact that these are the ONLY two companies I have used online in the last few months to order from other than Amazon. I have used the card at dinner/restaurants but this is the only time such a thing has happened to me before, and it comes at just a few weeks after my orders with these companies.
Sure it could be just a coincidence, but I think the buyers should be made aware. Both places had great shipping and seeds btw, i'm just a little leary now that I had almost 2,000$ worth of fraud on my card.
Proceed with caution guys. And make sure you have some type of fraud prevention with your cards. My next orders will be with a prepaid Visa, which I should have been doing from the beginning.
I'm not saying for certain it was these companies, but be aware.
