Possible hermaphrodite?

Hey all i believe my friend has a hermaphrodite plant... It has plenty of pistols and places where buds are growing however the other day we noticed it to have balls appearing on a few of it branches. Its pistols still appear to be white with only maybe a few possibly turning brown...

So here is my question, should he be cutting the "balls" off of the plant in hopes to not impregnate itself or will that only make the situation worse? Second question would be why would they seem to appear more often on the lower branches rather than the tops ones? And lastly because it most likely is a herm will the buds be very weak (white widow seed)?

If i can get a good picture ill post it.

Keep in mind it is the only MJ plant growing in a large area.

let it grow then if its the only one it'll grow budz with seeds in it..

cut the balls off asap, if they haven't opened yet they won't pollenate the buds. it's a good thing they are on the lower branches, less chance of pollenating the top buds. sounds like a hermie though, sorry

So cutting the balls off wont make the situation any worse?

It appears as though the balls have stopped growing back after picking them off multiple times. Does this possibly make it pure female?

Much like an alcoholic, your plant will always be hermie! But the good news is, yes you can successfully stop the male pollen (in those balls you removed) from seeding your remaining buds. Be diligent - one bursting ball of pollen will literally pollinate your room!

So here is an updated reply to the plant. It is official it did pollinate itself, however now after it looked like it was over being a male i spotted new growth on the buds recently. Their appear to be male flowers growing on the bud as well as seeds and the normal process. I know the picture is fuzzy but what do you think? Is it in fact male flowers growin in the bud itself?

that would most likely be seeds. are your pistols starting to shrink up?

what strain is this?

it's a hermie. use the bud to make oil or hash, it's not as good but it'll do if it's your only plant

coz it's not so potent, you can smoke it but you'll get more joy out of hash

you gotta let it flower til the trich's are ripe
