Possible pH/nutrition problem? Please help!

Hey guys, 65 here again. I once discovered a place on here (or possibly another website) that showed pictures of grows gone bad. It would then tell you what the problem was and how to fix it. So let me start off by saying that I have 5 plants left. 2 of which have drooped pretty low. I was thinking it was because of their size. So I posted them up with some thin sticks I had laying around in the garage. Well, it would appear that they have grown weaker!!! after the droopy stage they seem to be withering. Like curling under themselves. For viewing purposes only I blurred the background and enhanced the colors just a very small amount just to increase visibility.

Should I throw them away?

i don't really know but I can check the bag first thing in the morning. I did however use a miracle grow based food on them about 4 days ago. One of my other friends said that is probably whats killing them because it indeed kills weeds.

Man it's not the MG products killing plants...it's the inexperienced people who think they have a green thumb and don't :wall:....with that said my sis in law is using "my" old MG nutes on her plant and it's growing fine...as a matter of fact I told her to feed it almost double what they are recommending cause it looks hungry...and any nutes at this point is going to kill them...next time wait for the cotyledons (little round leaves for food and energy) to wilt and your leaves to start turning yellow...not become yellow...but turning yellow...and then feed a small amount like 1/4 strength of recommended...good luck and don't listen to the MG haters...

here's my first grow using MG and CFLs..

Here's my second grow using MG and HIDs...

And my latest grow using "subs super soil" and HIDs...

The Miracle Grow I use is - Miracle Gro, Shane 'n' Feed PLUS Moisture Control all purpose continuous release plant food. (Also, said it was guaranteed not to burn, which is a big plus for me lol.) I would like a little more feedback before I proceed to use it again. I am using a what appears to be a synthetic coconut based soil. I may wait another week or so before I commence if I don't get any other feedback.

ALSO!

Any recommendations on liquid base grow supplements (for future purposes) ?

Thanks again RIU community!

I don't know much about slow release ferts or miracle gro but if you're starting again don't add any to the media your seedlings are in, they don't need it.
A really good fertiliser is bio-bizz fish mix, plants absolutely love it and it won't break the bank.
Good luck.

It is extremely hard to burn plants with fishmix.
You only need about 2-5ml per litre of water so it goes a long way.
