I did this method a couple days ago, which stimulates side branching. It's really starting to bush-out, and I'll be taking new pics soon, to give you an idea of what I mean, and what can be expected. :)

I'm running my 3rd third batch of plants right now and took up the supercropping technique I also tried topping. I only give my plants a couple days between pinches and they seem to still do perfectly fine. Heres a pic of my current indoor, I'm running 7 strains using 4 t5's to veg and a 250watt hps for flower.

Two of the biggest in the picture have been supercropped.
The OG kush in the green planter, and the biggest plant in the clay pot is Tahoe OG. I also have used some LST on the OG kush planter and it seems to be helping alot(you cant even see all of her budsites from above, the count is around 38 sites right now). The tahoe stands at a nice 23 inches tall right now and is actually a bit wider now than she is tall.
The bigger plant on the right side is a skywalker OG that has been topped and has 7 main branches as you can see. (shes had a tiny bit of problems with PM but nothing I can't handle)
The plant in the very middle of them all is a random bagseed that I planted. Its been supercropped twice now also. So far its showing some nice afghani type leaves and the finger count is up to 10 I'm keeping my fingers crossed its a female.
The plant on the bottom left is LA confidential, she'll be getting supercropped in a couple more weeks.
Plant in the bottom middle is master kush, shes gotten the pinch twice as well.
The last plant on the bottom right is blue dream, she was a bushy clone from the start and has been supercropped twice in the past 3 days.
NONE of my plants that I have supercropped have takern more than a few hours to re-right their fallen tops. I tend to lean towards this method more as in my case it seems to cause the plants less stress. I know lots of people top and I have seen just as good of results as well. If you have the room to let them grow, I say supercrop, if not then topping will work great too.
