I'm really having a hard time deciding which tent to buy. In Amazon and eBay there are tons of options. I'm not going to spend the big bucks on a Secret Jardin or a Gorilla, but I'm looking at light house, apollo, quictent, and Best Choice, mainly.
Can you guys post which tent(s) you're using and whether you're happy or not?
My main specs for purchase are:
-Steel Poles and corners (no plastic)
-Vents with drawstringed socks
-Thick zippers
-Multiple access doors, (door in door)
-And a flood tray floor liner.

Any help to steer me in the right direction would be helpful as all hell.
Thanks guys.

I have one of those quictent's, 2x4x5' use it for vegging. Decent quality for the price, I'd buy another if I needed one.

I'm using lighthouse max. Have no problems with it. Small light leaks where zip is at a funny angle but can be rectified by pushing zipper into place. Has loads of vents. Double sleeved duct holes with drawstrings on each sleeve and full steel frame and corners with push button lock joints. Easy to assemble and easy to keep clean.

I'm using a 2'x4' Gorilla "Lite". I believe it comes with all the things you listed. It has features I don't even use. It's the first tent I've ever grown in, so I have no points of comparison in terms of quality (before this I grew in closets I converted to grow spaces). It has light leaks, but I've always had light leaks in my grow spaces and that has never been a problem for me. The zippers sometimes work smoothly, sometimes they seem to catch, just an annoyance, if wiggled they have always closed so far. I've only had it for about six months I think, maybe less, so I can't really speak to its long term durability. Not sure if any of that info is useful...

Also using the Quictent. The 4x4 version.
Im 6ft, can stand straight up with prob half a foot - foot more room above.
Steel poles, corners, quicksnaps together.
4in and 6 inch intake/exhaust ports. All ports are double sided with draw string tighteners.
Couple velcro vents
Door on two sides I believe, plus the option to open a whole corner.
Flood tray floor liner
Big thick zippers. Inside tent, the reflective mylar will cover the zipper teeth to prevent light leaks.
3 pole supports for the inside roof for different variations of light hanging
Good stitching, Outside material is black and tough/durable

Cons
Roof supports won't be strong enough for anything too heavy like hanging filters etc
Some light leaks are apparent from the outside, mostly near the velcro venting and areas around zipper as well some stitching. I will admit I haven't really sealed the inside mylar around the zipper as I'm doing autos atm. The little pinhole leaks may cause issue around stitching/ velcro vents.

I would definitely buy again for the price, but maybe a little smaller next time for my needs.

I've got a Gorilla tent 5x5 and an AgroMax 2x4. The Gorilla is leaps and bounds better constructed than the Agromax. It's painful in the pocketbook, but it's a pretty high quality unit. I see this thing lasting many years. All of the ports are well located and even the non-load bearing poles handle a little weight. I'd definitely recommend if you don't mind spending the coin.

Why won't it hold any weight? My diy light is HEAVY and my understanding is steel poles solve that problem

The poles seem to pull downward/bend under decent load. I have a 600HPS, 3 300w LED panels, wiring etc on mine just fine, but I can't hang my 2 1/2 foot long filter or anything. Prob like 20 lbs or more alone. Also depending on the configuration, the stress load won't intersect properly from the 2 poles Xing the 3rd one.

I would destroy my tent if I did a pullup. Hollow steel tubes. pfft, what maybe 1/8 inch thickness

Edit: not even, like 1/32 lmao
