I have four Hab plants & 2 are small as hell. I started them by seed in April & put out end of May. Cool nights here in the east I think is the reason.

Starting to see one mater' on my florida 91'. Took it a while after I Transplanted it. Probabley because its about a hundred degrees out. Its only getting about four or five hours of morning sun too. It looks like shit because ive been kinda super cropping it and pinching off all the suckers which is another reason why it took so long to put off its first tomatoes. Does anyone know a good blossom end rot spray for heat stress?

So I got a question I forgot to add maybe someone with more knowledge on tomatoes can help.. My tomatoe plants out back were planted earlier then i originally posted back in jan i believe. the pictures of the ones im posting have branched out and kinda still putting out tomatoes on the top now theres new growth lower down like its putting off a whole new plant on each one. If i cut all the branched out ones will the small bushy ones start shooting upward. Tomatoes have been known to become biannual in my region. Should i hack away old wooded out branches? or should i just let them grow even though there not as healthy looking as they were back in say..april? Any help would be cool thanks riu crew.Attachments

How long has the woody plant been sitting in the same soil? And you cover it to keep it cool? Maybe you want to freshen up that soil..

Yes I heard white plastic in extreme heat is the best to cool the soil down. I have all organic soil mix in both earth boxes. I have top fed twice with EWC and Have sprayed the leaves with ACT made with Kelp, EWC and mollases about four times its whole life. I also use happyfrog 7-4-5. I have some boogie brew I was thinking of maybe hitting both of them with that. But its been in the same soil since before december i think.

been gone a week, had the grandson tend the animals and the garden...he cant eat another tomatoe either..lol....and them little red peppers on the bottom right are tabasscos...packs heat for sure..nothing like the super hots..but has flavor with the heat

Nice. Ill post some pics when we get some ripe ones. Once they start to ripen i will soon be overloaded with toms. Better get the canning supplies ready.

Man I had some last night. And you know you always gotta show who's the bigger man challenge. Damn... My tounge was on fire. Like I just licked asphalt.
Told my buddy to pot up a cutting for me. Hope he remembers. Don't know what it is about hot peppers. They hurt but I can't ever stop eating them.

I used to get the old soap in the mouth. This was back before they had all these fancy fruity smelling soaps.
Just a big white bar of soap. Gross as shit.
Better then the belt though.

I chopped all the old woody trunks on this old sob. Churned in some leftover roots soil Then Top dressed with earth worm castings some happy frog 7-4-5 and some garden lime. I also put some liquid sea kelp down in the resevoir, i don't know if that's a good idea or not. This plant has given me so many delicious tomatoes at this point its kinda just like an experiment to see how long i can get her to produce through the hot summer months. I also got rid of all those clamps and bungees and draped a net trellis over it ill secure that down and make it look all neet later. Time to medicate

This has happened to me a couple of times in the past few years....my solution? cut anything that wasnt producing off and in some cases just replacing plants with new ones considering how fast they grow when loved. just my two cents.
