pot size for 1 oz?

hey im using a 5 litre pot at the moment and i got a plant doing fine in it. its about 1 meter tall. im assuming a plant of this height will produce atleast 3-4 oz? (ive only started flowering 2 weeks ago)

well i got some low ryders which i assume are gonna make about 1 oz each, what pot size can handle this? 2 litres? im trying to save space.

sorry for old english, but the rule of thumb is one gallon of pot for each foot the plant is expected to be at harvest.

well, there's also another thing you should think about.

Just because you have your plants in a big pot... doesn't mean your going to automatically yield an Ounce of bud bro.

The amount you yield, has to do with alot of things. The strain your growing, amount of light your giving the plant, the amount of veg. time you give the plant(s) before switch them to flowering; those all are things that, in the end, will balance out to how much you will yield at harvest time.

Don't get me wrong though, the size of your grow pot is another factor.. in the amount you will yield in the end too. But you need to take the other things in account as well..

PS. Just remember this.. its simple. 'The bigger the roots.. and the more roots that your plant is able to develop, the bigger and more buds you'll have in the end'.

thanks for the replies but i already know all this information. i have taken into consideration all the factors except for pot size. and as for the rule which suggests one gallon = one foot, this isnt true because my plant is 3 foot in height and the pot isnt even one gallon.

anyone who has experience growing auto strains, whats the smallest pot size you can get away with to get 1 oz?
