Potassium?

What's the best organic source of K. I plan of using some new guano tea recipes on my upcoming grow, but upon going over the npk ratios of my guanos I don't see how it'll have enough K. I know molasses helps but is it enough to keep the plants healthy? All input is appreciated.

I got it at the grocery store in the baking needs area. $4.29:bigjoint:
I like the fact that it also has Iron, Calcium, Magnesium and vitamin b6 and no sodium (salt).
These are all micronutrients that our plants love. I am not sure what is in other brands of molasses but this one seems to be perfect and totally organic in every way, and USDA approved.

High phosphorus guano is a good boost in flower, but you also need a flowering nute

Earth juice bloom is 0-3-1, so I guess it doesn't take much K

blackstrap molasses for the win

i remember when i was doing some research on molasses and how it is made. if i remember correctly it refined from either the sugar cane or the sugar beet plant. and it goes through like three different stages of refining, kind of how hash can have three grades, you're just running the same leaf material through three different times and it degrades every time. My understanding was that blackstrap is the last one and the worst...read the ingredients, I'm pretty sure they are very low in the nutes needed by plants.

you can topdress and water it in
or whip it up in a bucket with a drill and a paint mixer (takes a bit of time)
and add it to the tea.

"Some studies have shown that high potassium levels have a negative influence on THC production, which would correlate to the general belief that while hemp crops uptake more potassium than phosphorous, the reverse seems to be true for drug and seed cannabis crops."

I cut and pasted this because I'm lazy lol

blackstrap molasses is good for people and plants.
it's not a nutrient, but is LOADED with micronutrients.

do you have a fish tank? algae thrives on the same thing flowering marijuana plants need. if you've ever had a fish tank then you've had to clean it and you know what im talking about. i have a goldfish/turtle pond in my greenroom that i use as a reservoir in my aquaponics setup. my girls love the fish oils and other goodies in it too!

Hey everyone. I'm glad to see that this thread blew up since my last logon. Nice to see GreenCross and TheFaux on here as well. Thanks for all the great input guys. My high P guano of choice is Sunleaves Jamaican Bat 1-10-0.2. I also picked up some more Alaska Fish Fert 2-3-1. I love that shit. Thanks so much again everyone. Happy Tokin.
