I am about halfway through the read and I have to ask. Is this report describing anything different than the normal dangers that light and artificial light produce? Besides the fact that leds are more like lasers and would more likely cause more damage to the eyeor skin quicker. Are the photons that leds emit somehow different from other photons of the same color?

That's one of the main reasons I put switches and dimmers on my lights. Every time I visit my grow I switch half the lights off and dim down what's left over. The intensity, like hid, is extreme with these leds. I couldn't imagine being in the area with everything at max power..skin problems, eyes, etc....
I've always wondered the "care" light manufacturers have for their customers. I remember when using the red and blues...I'd literally be seeing pink or red for a good while after leaving the area. That can't be good at all for vision health
With light manufacters and their ability to add simple features I expect them to incorporate functions that increase safety. Not just a simple setup with a more complicated price tag...
