Pothead / Drunk ....

I wanted to post this last night, but I got out of work late and smoked a couple of bowls and hit the sack..

Yesterday, I was joking around with my boss, one thing lead to another and he ended up saying something along the lines of
"Keep the cash to buy your weed" and I just laughed and said, "Im still one of your hardest working employees so.." This was all in a joking relaxed mood for the most part, and he ended up saying, "Yea, you wont have the brain cells for long"

Thats where I kinda got pissed, He is a KNOWN alcoholic, been to 4 different rehab places and still ENJOYS to drink, a lot.. I said, "Well, what do you think alcohol does to your brain"
"Not a damn thing he replied"

Now I wasn't in the mood to argue facts with my boss, but I am just trying to give you the 'mood'....

My question to you all is, does it offend you when people who drink, either occasionally or daily, think their habbit is better than yours. Sometimes because its legal, others because of what your taught in school, either way, there will be people who look down on the idea, but I DONT like when its made to be the lesser of the two..


What is your opinion?

i've got a cousin that sounds like nancy reagan preaching against drugs but he's all blotted and yellow from cirrosis of the liver. some people will never get it.

Ahh who cares....do you think alcoholics that are in "the know" about marijuana think you are being high and mighty about your drug of choice? Perhaps you make smart alcoholics feel bad...like dumb alcoholics make you feel....everyone does what they do, and I do what I do....and if we can't agree then guess what...you do what you do and I do what I do....lol

I'm not a doctor, but IMO I feel that alcohol is much worse for you than smoking cannabis in moderation. Abusing alcohol also seems to encourage people to get into alot more legal trouble as well.

On a side note, there have been millions of families that have completely destroyed over the years from alcohol abuse, while if the roles were reversed and it was cannabis that was being abused, I think the outcome would have been alot different.

Just my opinion :peace:

My father is the exact same way. He'll tell me it's bad for me with a beer in his hand.

kinda depending on how the person is talking, just because alcohol is legal doesn't mean everyone likes to drink shit i know i drink a little 1-2 beers does me in quick and i'm done but if it's like flavored alcohol then i'm all over it cause just drinking beer is nasty which is i'm usually done after 2, after that i'm toking for the rest of the night because getting stoned fells alot better than getting drunk, when your drunk you get hot i hate being hot because i'm very big man of padding and being hot suuuucks and when the thc finally goes through your whole body you feel pretty damn good but when it comes to between both i'll be picking up the pipe then a can of beer

i use it for 2 reasons

1. Relax.

2. to eat i get a nausea kinda feeling in my stomach every day it has replaced my stomachs growl to tell me i'm hungry so basically i go through the day feeling sick but once i a couple tokes i'm good.

my homies step father drinks a 30 pack of budweiser tall boys in about oh i say 2 hours and wants more after that must have some sort of liver problems but is against the use of MJ says it's bad for you basically what your boss told you but this mofo is doing more damage by drinking alcohol like a fish out of water

Dosent offend me, I just take it all in, laugh, because i know im probably doubling their yearly salary lol. They usually shut up after theyve seen the car ;) Being a functioning pothead is fun!

Like I said before I know people who 'quit smoking weed' but now they drink like a fifth a night get fucked up and post on facebook every 5 minutes... but then your like 'hey you want to get together and burn one?' and they're like, 'no I stopped doing drugs' :lol:

Most of my buddy's are drinker's, if they smoked they would forget to drink. They say stupid shit sometimes when I spark one up but I just consider where it's coming from and nothing you say to people like that will make a difference. I feel sorry for them but some times you pick the devil you know.

lmfao, yep I've deleted many people that ended up like that, some sad shit right there.

And it's like you know they're depressed, making that worse, and destroying their liver :lol: probably end up with a dui and $4,000 worth of costs in the end until they realize, "wait... why did I stop smoking trees?"

definitely on the depression. alcohol literally digs them the hole.... at worst cannabis will keep you in a sane stable spot, if you use it to your atvantage it will help you rise up.

What annoys me about some of these people that "stopped doing drugs" is that when then stop smoking they act like is such a bad thing to do, but within a year or less there back to smoking and act like it is perfectly ok again....WTF....lol

I wouldn't be offended. He seems like a cool guy and I definately wouldn't want to argue with my boss over what's better. Seems to me he was just poking fun and wasn't saying that alchohol is better than MJ I'm sure he is the type of person who can laugh at himself.

Your making a serious amount of judgments about his boss.. Personally, the guy sounds like a brainwashed asshole.. But who knows? I say, don't lose your job :P (unless you want to) smile, nod, and move on :D

those are usually the people that think they're serious potheads smoking mids out of apples and home made plastic bongs
