pothead's continuous multi-strain grow journal

well i had my journal on another site but i don't like it there anymore, and ive been reading RIU for close to or just over a year. pretty much all i know about DWC i learnt it here.

so i guess moving my journal here was a natural move

let me just roll and spark this amazing white rhino i just picked up and i'll start

OK..... to begin, i welcome u all, ur opinions, ur criticisms
the way i see it is the day we stop learning is the day we die.

so here's what i got....

FOR VEG i have a large walk in closet with 1 400w mh

the walls lined with mylar
and some ociliating fans the room it is in is air conditioned so temp and humidity r in check
i just made myself an bubble bucket cloner running only ph'ed water and fitted with a aquarium heater set to keep water at 78 to 80 degrees

the flowering room is a 120x120x200 homebox grow tent, 1000w hps with a sunmaster super HPS bulb(150000 initial lumens)ari cooled hood(soon to be cool tube)
3(soon to be 4) 6 inch clip fans, 1 in each corner
inline fan drawing air out of the room and light at the sametime and a bathroom exaust fan attached to my a/c pulling the cold air into the tent

nutes im using are:
CANNA vega a+b
CANNA flores a+b
CANNAzyme
Rhizotonic by canna
CANNA pk 13/14
and CANNABOOST accelarator

i have both and digi ph reader and a HANNA ec/tds/ppm/res temp pen

for now i grow in buckets from seed
using OASIS starter cubes and hydroton
but im working on ridding myself of the hydroton
and using no medium at all just neoprene collars 2.5 inch for seedlings and 2x3.5inch stacked and pushed into netpot for stability

anyways u'll understand better watching my grows

im sure u all wanna know my strain list so here it goes

(all seeds are fem)
SRPOUTING OR JUST SPROUTED i have...
1 x g13 labs pineapple express(PE)
1 x greenhouse trainwreck
1 x dinafem white widow
1 x AAA JACK a seed from a breeder in my area its just an amazing jack

in the veg room i have
2 x lavender about 1 month from seed
1 x PE
1 x dinafem power kush
1x dinafem roadrunner(in dirt)

in the bubble cloner i have 2 cuttings of the lavender
and 1 x GHS cheese

now the cheese i germed it in the oasis cube and when i saw the tap root appear at the bottom i broke off the cube as much i could from the root without damaging it
wrapped a neoprene collar on it and put her in the clone.
Well so far so good its working just as i thought, after 24 hrs the roots on thr seedling are multiplying.

and for a to catch u up on sumthing i had sume probs with heat in the reses in the old veg room(reson for moving it into the closet)and had some slimy roots and growth probs(see the power kush and the taller plant in the bubbler(pineapple express) problem is solved and all plant involved are now showing new root growth(promising)

so hears the tent, inside i have 2 x super lemon haze from a friend and fellow grower whick i think will be done in about 3 weeks maybe less enjoy the pics

this morining when i checked my seediling, i can see the white widowis almost out the cube.

for the AAA JACK i didnt think it was doing anything, so i broke the cube, and lo and behold it germed and a tap root was forming, so i placed it in another oasis cube so it can continue its journey

well today i started the final two week of the super lemon haze, giving it what CANNA recomends which is:
CANNA flores 2ml/L each of a and b
CANNAzyme 2.5ml/L
CANNABOOST 3 ml/L

and at the same time i too a sample(about 2 grams)
and here are some trich pics i took of the sample
mostly cloudy but the next 2 weeks should put out some amber, but whatever the ratio is in 2 weeks im harvesting some dank bud

all the pics are from the same bud and it was a lower to mid bud

and to add im water curing the sample bud in a small jar and am gonna do it for 7 days the let it air dry and them taste it

no more oven dry lol

my trainwreck was a retarded so i ditched it
i put to germ another GHS trainwreck and i couldnt help myself i also put to germ GHS LemonSkunk

damn now i gotta make more buckets/pumps/airstones to house all these seedling when its time comes
i wont have room to flower them all at the same time so 2 or 3 will have to veg for much longer maybe i can experiment with a few ........ anyways we'll see

so just to update my strains i got germing sprouted and vegging are

germing: GHS lemon skunk and trainwreck
and 1 x AAAjack
sprouts: G13 labs pineapple express
Dinafem White Widow
and GHS Cheese
veging: i have 2 x lavender

recouperating from root rot(yessssssss!!!!): dinafem Power kush
G13 labs pineapple express

i got alot of work ahead but it all pays off(amazingly) in the end

so i took about a looks like is going to me 2 to 3 gram dry sample and it looks and smells awsome but like i said the slh#1 is sativa dom and slh#2 is indica dom the both share the same smell except the sativa dom haze a hint of haze in it both incredibly frosty and the weight looks decent

so here are sum trich pics of the SLH#2
and i put it to water cure with the sativa dom sample just a day ahead and the water when i changed it smelt like green tea with a lemon in it mmmmmmmmm

ill thake pics on sunday night of the buds themselves

today i addded the AAA Jack to the bubble cloner
the lemon skunk has its head out the cube just waiting for it to shed it's shell
and i though the Trainwreck was another blank but when i broke the cube off
i was germ'ed and stuck i guess so i took it out that cube and gently placed in in a new one
funny thing though it seemd to have 2 tap roots but when i took it out the original cube it just fell the secong tap just fell off
anyways i'll probably be moving the lemon skunk in the the bubble cloner 2morrow
and the trainwreck the day after that

so all strains are in the bubble cloner with no medium at all, just a neoprene collar holding it
they are all showing their true leaves and the cheese is showing its second set of leaves

I have greenhouse trainwreck,It has about three or four phenos,I kept the sativa pheno.It turns blue but all phenos are strong.I grew alaskin ice and it sucked .I just waisted space in my grow.You look like you got it going on.I just put 45 trainwreck clones in this week.I have about 30 jars and some ready to harvest now.(Good Luck)

this is the first grow i do with baught seeds all others were from local clone and the genetics were unclear

im looking forward to to trying them all as the only one available, right now, in my area for buy is the AAA

i live in montreal cannada and the weed here is sick but i wanted to get some strains we'd probably here see here
