just set up tents today so 3 months well see. do u think i should run my system as i was saying having 4x4 for veg and 2 4x8 for flowering and have them 4 weeks apart and harvest every month or should i run the 3 tents on on the same shedule pulling down every 3 months?

I used LED a long time ago in my learning curve...I have no idea what they are using for spacing..same thing with the 1lb with 500 watts.. that is a fantasy using the ones I had... but I am in a new space now, and I could use a break from the heat in the room I have now.

On the schedual thing.. if you want to have a steady income... go monthly, you want bigger payday when it comes.. go all in one pop.
Personally, I like to harvest every 3 weeks.. it keeps the hobby fun as there's always something to do, and me always looking forward to scissor hash

@porridge the leds is for stealth technology i have a false wall in my basement and 3 tents behind it i dont need a shitload of fans and vents trying to cool my room down. and the HIDs draw way more power on your electric bill. so many people on here hate on LEDS well with my grow im going to shut everyone up thats why i created a profile by the name of dickhead cause everyones gonna think im dick when i prve these leds haters wrong!

In the past I have liked 3 weeks for a variety of reasons... here's one...
If you divide a calendar year into 3 you get (52 weeks divided by 3 week harvests) 17 harvests.
you go every 4 you get 13.
You are planning on getting 3 lbs per room per harvest(?) every 3 weeks (you would want to run 3 rooms) you would have 153lbs/yr.
every 4 weeks (same 3 rooms)....a mere 117lbs.

If your going to dream.. dream big have any room shots up yet?

you guys make it sounds so easy .. from my previous experience, I had to flower 10-12 days longer than what they say... sometimes it's just not ready, what do you do!? what strain are you growing!? I mean every 3 weeks!? even with the 2 tent flowering that gives you only 42 days of flowering!?

well harvesting every 3 weeks would be ideal but you need to veg and train the plant for 4 weeks in order to get a pound off of it. and if i did turn the 4x4,and the 2-4x8 if i put them on their own cycle id have to veg for 4 and flower for 8-12 in each room so id be pulling down 7-8 elbows every 3-4 months which is 4 harvest a year of 32lbs a year. so i guess pulling 3 a month would be the way to go and get 36lbs a year. the strains im growing are heavy duty fruity and pinapple express!

We are talking about a perpetual harvest set up.
If you had to flower 10-12 days longer than the breeder pack said on your first run, you factor that into setting up your harvest schedual. You have to do a run with a plant and dial it in and find your time.. (the rest is done with clones). I flower for 65 days and still harvested around 1lb every 3 weeks. Strains were strawberry cough, violator kush, cali orange skunk, and bubba kush.

Do you notice in my post where I said "if you want to harvest every 3 weeks you'll likely want 3 rooms".

The length of time he flowers doesn't have anything to do with how many rooms he has. He can fill half a room at a time every 4 weeks and harvest plants that have been flowering for 112 days every 30.

a lil off subject but something happen to the kid i was ordering from and he sent me 1 high pressure aero pump with 2 aero sites. i need to know if ill need another pump i think the one will do but i need a total of 6 aero sites!. and for vegging what should i start the plants in. the aero set up sites is 2 5 gallon buckets stacked on each other with a rubber thing that goes into a small pot with holes in it that plugs into a cut out hole on the top of the bucket. should i veg in rockwool?
