Powdery mildew: should I throw out my plant?

Hey friends, so yeah I just found some definite PM on a few sugar leaves... there's no doubt that it's PM.

My question, obviously, is should I throw out this plant completely? I cut out the spots where it had PM but I don't want to risk having pulmonary problems. Is there even a risk?

Thanks

I've read about rose growers using milk as a foliar spray to kill and prevent pm. But as for pulmonary risks from inhalation, I don't know. Probably cause one hell of a sinus infection if you have bad allergies.

Yeah I'm a couple of days from chopping so prevention is kinda out... I was just wondering if my whole plant is ruined or not. Thanks dtl

Just keep cutting the pm off and watch it close when it dries....also if your a couple days out might as well do it now

Don't spray with anything.. Start removing all the leaves... infected leaves first .. over a couple days.
It's too late to spray.. this should keep it out of your buds. Good luck..

10-12 ml of 3% H2o2 per gallon of water. No need to rinse since the only byproduct of H2o2 is water. It kills powdery mildew on contact. Since you are only days away from harvest H2o2 is your cleanest & most effective resort. Your not going to cure it, but just to keep it at bay for a few days til harvest.

My fear is that the buds are alrady affected since the PM is on the sugar leaves...

I'm leaning towards cutting my losses and just throwing it out. It's an outdoor but I sometimes do an indoor and I wouldn't want to infect my house.

This sucks, I was really looking forward to this Kosher Tangie... First time in 27 grows I get PM.

Sigh

Is this plant indoors?
Outdoors

I have another one next to it that doesn't seem affected (for now).

i had powdery mildew on my last grow,, i used H202 and baking soda mixed with water,, works perfect,, I sprayed after lights out,, I sprayed buds and leafs,, everything,, hosed her down,, killed all the PM,,,
then after chop,, give them an H202 bath

This works well, other than some trichome loss during hose off, better than ditching it.

agreed,,, it all comes down to this,,, how much do you Need or Want this crop,, if you need it,,, then save it,, there is no aftertaste from the h202,, and it comes off really clean,, stuff kills the PM like @HydroRed said,,, and its not a cure,, but it is a great fix,,,
be sure to clean out your grow area,, and clean all equipment,, after your done

That is the question, yes.

Do I need it? Nah...

If I choose to h202-it, will a doubt linger every time I vape it? Probably.

I'll sleep on it. ;)

If it's a strain you don't have it would be worth trying it on the on a few branches just for a taste. But if you don't need it I sure wouldn't go through the trouble. When I've done it it tasted perfectly fine. Just a pain in the ass.
