Powdery mildew

Question if I had Powdery mildew in my grow space I know that I have to clean all my equipment my question is my dehumidifier. If I continue to run the same dehumidifier can that be the reason why I got p.m. again? Of course I cleaned it as best I can but do you think it got inside the dehumidifier? Should I just get a new one?

Last question. Auto flowers. Can changing light cycle from 18/6 to 12/12 5 weeks into flower cause hermies??
