powdery mildew

so on one of my plants it looked like it might have that white powdery mildew on the small leaves right near the buds, on a few of the lower buds of this plant, i choped it cause it was almost done anyway, and i rinsed the plant and sprayed all the buds real good that had the visable white stuff on it, is this ok to smoke when its dried?
anyone have to deal with this befor?

I don't think you're supposed to wet the buds...
