Yes, Having worked in a machine shop that would account for a 1000 bill, it cracks me up you would forget to mention it, I gota try some of your stuff mabey i could forget a few things too :)

Wow,I can only assume that the return on your investment is far greater, because how the hell do you guys afford that bill? Running a 400w HID and a few other things in my room, I had an increase of about $30-40 per mo. I live in a condo with 11 other tenants so the key for me is making sure all suspicious garbage is taken to a different location-hopefully you guys do the same............

look at this way, more energy in more production out. personally i love the 16-18 inch colas of 1k lighting, you start with 400 then you really see the light and finally get right. no soon later you start thinking hell 2 is not bad either.

the investment always comes out in my favor. my hobby more than pays for itself

I have a friend who knows someone who knows a very serious indoor grower who's electric bill averages around 1400 a month.

wow you all talk about 1000w lights! what are you growin indoor forest, GOD i wish i could all i can manage is 8 plants but i use $10.00 fluorescent grow lamps with an output of 75w each there are 4 of them and i do ok have no idea how much juice they suck but it cant be much. Just out of curiosity what does one of those things cost??

I'm thinking about making a grow room using 1000w hid lamp may be 2k watt (depends if i want a veg and bud room) plus the fans humidifiers and all i would say about 3000w with all appliances. i live in 2000 sq.ft. house in a rich neighbor hood in tx. do you think that the police might find out or get tipped off somehow?

dude, you're fine from electricity. you need to watch other risks. other inhabitants...don't tell anyone...not even smoking friends...meter maid might smell the grow...

I live in the London area, and evry 5 mins i hear police cars and helicopter (especially at night) and am sooooooo damn paranoid im gonna get fucked, and i only have 3 CFL's in a cupboard:


Now ive started putting my plants on the windowsill during the day to keep costs to a minimum

LOL, just keep them under the CFL's.

They use fuck all power and put off fuck all heat, what you worrying about eh?

Trust me when say that my cupboard gets damn hot in ther it was 39 degrees Celcius in there, and i open the door every so often......
