Ppm 1620 using FFox

Im using a homemade hydro system . I purchased feminized " purp" seed from BC . I'm using Farm Fox Trio and btw this is my very first time .. No BS..
I purchase TDS and I'm showing 1600-1620 ppm ..
To start I have a 20 gallon tote - I bought 6 gallons of distilled water . With each gallon I mixed 2-3 teaspoon of Grow Big & 4 tablespoons on Big Bloom per gallon .
Dumped them into tote and fired her up . I have 396 pump and 10" air stone .
That ran fine like that for a few week - then the weather got hot n humid . Naturally water evaporated .. Every few days I would mix up a gallon ( still using ratio as told in beginning ) dump it in and sprayers be misting at full spray again.
Plants are under 400 watt hps - house fans to cool things down ..
Now that I've purchased TDS handheld I've noticed my ppm is 1600 .. I read a bit on it and it seems I'm on the high side ( not in a good way ) .so I started add 1/2 gallon of Brita filtered water about everyday to keep sprayers misting at full spray with NO nutes . I thought by diluting that would help . However it's still at 1600 ppm . What should I do as far as ratio ? I'm in veg state still . Plants are healthy looking - nice long healthy roots . Nice big ( starting to stink) green leaves . FYI ... No I didn't check ph . I purchased the TDS by mistake when I was looking for ph meter on line . Lol
I know you guys here at RIU are pros and will help me out .

1# Get the correct calibration fluid for your TDS meter.
2# Check your TDS meter calibration.
3# Get a PH meter and set your PH to 5.8
4# Scrub and clean out all the salt build up in the tote.
5# Refill and redo nutes completely and set it at an acceptable ppm.
6# If the ppm is still too high dillute it until the ppm is in a good range.

I can't help with that, I don't use FF. Every brand is different. If I use GH I have to run low ppm or it burns my plants. If I use House & Garden I can run my ppm high. You just have to watch your plants and every strain takes a different ppm.

Ursus marijanus
Since your plants are pretty healthy at 1600, I'd consider that your high mark. I would reduce your solids proportions (or increase water accordingly) to shoot for more like 1200. You've lucked into a very nute-tolerant strain imo. cn

Yes most def ph meter ..
Thx . Night crawl for the help n being up front .. Everyone here has been a big help . These are fem purps from BC and I will remedy this with the help of all you. I just found it odd - cuz they're very full dark grn and stinky . These are in homemade hydro - the root systems on these are visually appealing too . That's why I check w/ the pros ... I would of thought with a ppm of 1600-1630 I'd be burning them . Oh well - thx again all .. I'm sure I'll be back
