My clones are in a diy bubble cloner, using rapid root plugs. 150ppm ro tap mix base water, bio root, rapid start and veg nutes to 300ppm, phd at 5.5. My issue is my clones finally have roots reaching the water, except 1 and the 2 that have roots have yellowed out starting at the top of the plant from the edge of the leafs in. Its a small setup with 6 sites and i have 3 clones and 2 seed sprouts in it. Is my ppm too low, shoukd i feed more veg nutes? I need to check the ph ans ppm tonight and going to swap out the water. I can take some pics if that helps but mainly just need to know how much i should be feeding rooted/ing clones in dwc. New to anything hydo so. I may also add that it took 2 weeks for these clones to root. I think the cold weather had an impact in rooting time.

I grow big roots in my cloner with just tap water. After they go to the buckets they can handle 500 ppm's or .5 EC easy enough.

Cool thanks for the input. I checked the ppm last night and it was 285ppm. I changed out the water with 150ppm base water and added veg nutes to 300ppm phd to 5.5 with GH test kit. I will see if the ppms drop and how much or i may just get them in solo cups with soil. I think since it took so long to root these cuttings and i do smaller cutting, they just justed up a lot of their stored nutes and energy juat staying alive and growing roots. Still so far i have a 100% success rate with clones.

Not sure why everyone seem's to be so focused on ppm' s. All nutes and additives have suggested dosage. Follow the direction's and stop over thinking it. It's really that easy.

I've used rain water with under 20 ppm and my tap water with 455 ppm and a mix of the two normally @ 200 ppm.. I don't really see any difference in my Dewey Mister system.
