PPM or EC Meter for DWC?

I've read different forums where some say you don't need a PPM meter but a EC and I've ready others that use PPM meters. Too much research in too many forums can lead to contradicting statements

haha.

What is recommended? I have a digital PH/Temperature meter but I'm confused on if I still need something for the PPM/EC and if so, which one?

Yo should get one. either a ppm meter or ec meter. They both do the same job, and saying one is better than the other is like saying kilometres are better than miles

A PPM and EC meter are the same thing, measure the same thing, the EC of the solution. The ppm just converts ec to ppm.

PH is necessary, I don't have a PPM or EC meter..

That's not saying I won't later, but for now I just use feeding charts precisely

I grow in a hydro dwc and my Ph pen works fine, oh ya btw it reads in ppms..Theres a pic of it below

Nice! I purchased a Ph pen that shows temperature, glad to know your's works well.
