Hey guys, first time checking the PPM of my solution and the feed ppm seems very high. Mind you it is a cheap ebay digital display ppm/ec meter but brand new and water being checked as per the instructions.
Growing in coco/perlite, 3 gallon fabric pots, hand waterring every other day.
My tap pulls water from my private unfilterred well. And straight water measured @ 460ppm. I added seedling strength ammount of GL flora grow and CalMag, and ph down, to the water and ppm rose to 730. This water was used to hydrate some clones.
I then made a 2 gallon mix of nutes for the feed cycle for my flowerring plants. GH Flora Trio + CalMag + PH Down. This solution measured @ 2050ppm I believe. Giving slightly less than the feed chart recomends.
Are these numbers not sky high for a little hand waterred setup under a 600hps in coco? 2 of my flowerring plants seem to be loving life and are lush healthy green and budding incredibly for only 4 weeks in, while the last plant is also budding large, it is also yellowing from the top down which doesnt fit many descriptions for health issues
