Preflowering Question

I have a couple of plants that are starting to preflower. From my past observation, it seems that the females seem to start with a single pod on opposite ends of the nodes. The male preflowers seem to show cluster of pods in the nodes. Is this a correct statement? I have one that is showing clusters of pods in the nodes and looking to pull before pollen start to form. I will wait till I'm sure. I just want to know if females will show a lot of pods in node too in preflowering or this is just normal for preflowering regardless. I appreciate any opinion or facts you can offer. Peace. X-0~

Just look for the 2 small V like white hairs stickin out, and if it doesnt look like 152.jpgand has balls, then its a boy. BE CAREFULL letting it sit in there, they can look like your not sure, and be busted pollen pods by the tiime you get home from work :)

i had a similar problem on my first batch, i found that the best way of identifying them is just to get pictures and compair, if your still unsure just keep them away from other plants and wate till they start pumping out pollen till you get rid of em.

I dont have any males, so therefore no pictures :) but if it starts sagging down like balls and looks more like a little nubby thing then the catalyx, then its garbage

Yeah. I think this one is a male. I started flowering some early to see if I can stagger my harvest. The first batch seems to have more males. I will pull once I get them to grow a little more. I plan to see if I can make cannabutter with them. Not worried about seeds since nothing else is flowering. In my past, I don't remember the female preflowers to cluster a lot of pods in the nodes.

a preflowering male cant knock up any of the girls, a male early in flowering cant knock any of them up till the flowers form and then mature, and way before that time it should be very obvious what sex it is.

Clusters of pods=balls
That's what I thought. The past couple of grows I had females so this was something I didn't see form. I do see some cluster of pods and will be pulling them out. Trying to keep the sensi going. Thanks.

from my experience ...early on a male looks like a fist sticking out, cut off at the elbow. a female looks like a pear with a pointy tip... its very small at this point... so be careful not to make snap judgements... but when the hairs come out! wahooooooooooo!
