Pressure canner for hash oil????

Has anyone ever used a pressure canner to extract THC?

With it, you steam Mason jars of whatever you wish to put inside it. They’re also used as an autoclave for needle sterilization in a lot of tattoo parlors.

Can you put a screen in the bottom of a quart Mason jar to keep the trim out of the ½ to 1 inch of water in the bottom of the jar, close the jar and let the steam extract from the bud above it and drip back down into the water in the bottom of the jar?????

I think it would basically make a concentrated tea from which you would evaporate the water to leave the hash residue and maybe hash oil.

Questions: Will the heat and steam kill the THC????

Will it just turn into a big mushy mess?

If it's a big mushy mess, will a coffee filter screen (not the paper filters) clog up on me?

mush is exactly what will happen, the heat will rise far above 200* and turn the thing into a big soggy mess... try it, i've been wrong before, but there is no way that steam will not vaporize the thc or trichomes leaving you with the opposite of what you want: ganja smelling water... no bioactivity at all, just green...
