I have been preoccupied with the flower room as of late and ignored this girl on my veg room. I'm running 5gal dwc so I am just planning on res change to adjust for this issue. I'm just curious as to what started going wrong with her...

The ph has been pretty stable.. a few times I let the water run low and the ph got messed up.. otherwise stable. The roots are bright white and massive!
 
How can anyone help without more information? Environmental conditions, feeding schedule, etc. are all necessary for even the most basic troubleshooting.

The plant will tell you what to do if you know how to read it. Cal mag def N def looks the same regardless of how or what you grow in. You all ought to know this by now. My opinion only. And yes most times lots of other info is critical but sometime it's just obvious

Just knowing that there is an apparent deficiency or toxicity issue isn't enough. Why is the plant displaying these symptoms? There are tons of issues, from extemely low RH to pH being out of whack, which can cause a plant to display "phantom deficiencies." Oftentimes correcting the environment or the pH can clear an issue which appears to be a deficiency or toxicity problem up, whereas dumping nutes for a corrective feeding might just take you even further down the rabbit hole. Don't be so dismissive and sure of yourself without considering all of the angles.
 
He said pH was fine and he had been neglecting his grow. Heat/cold won't do that. Over fertilizing does not display theses symptoms but under feeding will. He asked if they caught something, I said no in my own way. It's not always black and white and and you can't always find your answer in a book or on the internet. The problem here is 95% of growers cannot /will not, nor do they know what their plants are doing just by looking at them. It's called deducing , start with the obvious signs and build a case as info is learned... Unless you are fairly new you should be able to look at a plant and know exactly what is going on without ANY information or at least get real close. Sorry but this is just my opinion and I guess I'm very talented in knowing MY plants . good luck and harvest big.

I'm not sure what you are even arguing about at this point. Any plant diagnosis section on any forum like this one asks for as many details as possible for a reason. If you're saying that you could guess based on only a photo with no other descriptive information included and still be right some of the time, then yeah, sure you could...but why wouldn't you approach the situation from a "30,000 foot view" first and deduce from there? That's how logical deduction works...
