Preventing Root slime/rot

Recently germ'ed two seeds and have then growing in some coco fiber. These puppies are going in my dwc here in the next few days but was wondering some steps I can take to prevent any root slime or rot. I understand I should check the water daily/weekly and change it. Ive read up on some ways and heard of using H202 while cleaning my system, also have heard about using beneficial bacteria. What is the beneficial bacteria I should be adding, is it a solution I can buy? Thanks in advance guys!

I'm a soil guy myself.. But from my understanding of beneficial's is there is no use to use them in hydro because they can't establish colonies?

I'd say cleanliness is your best friend. And enzymes will help also. To digress I've also heard things about using hydrogen peroxide, but again im a soil guy so I'm not sure.

Any organics (fungi/bacteria) will be pretty useless in hydro especially since im sure your nutes are chemical based (death to microbes). I don't fuck wit hydro but just keep your shit clean and change your water every so often. Make sure they getting plenty of oxygen (air stones) and you should be golden as far as rot goes.

Oh and hydrogen peroxide is great for killing organic based life (mold, fungus, rot) I would suggest running it through your system when cleaning.

yes, thats correct.

Clean- every 7-10 days.
no hight temps.
no light to your roots
air pumps- suck in air laden with organism that go to your nutrient solution. IMO

you can add benes to hydro. i would personally add orca, and then maybe a few days before a res change, add a small amount of hygrozyme.

Really appreciate all the good answers guys! Im gonna buy an extra air pump and stone to insure there getting plenty of oxygen. Gonna check out the orca and hygrozyme now. Thanks again!

O, and I deffinitly plan on keeping her clean, keeping light off the roots, and my res temps down. Thanks for the advice!

Just so you know all these people steered you in the wrong direction. Go to the section on this forum called Hydroponics/ Aeroponics. There, you can learn all about running successful DWC or Hydro. Clean or with Benes. People here know very little about what you are attempt. Heisenberg's tea is a must read if you choose to use Benes.
