Hey,

I have this super skunk that has been in vegetative stage for about 2 months now and the last 2 weeks I was away so some friends took care of her. They did take good care of her since the temperature in the grow room went up to 40 degrees celcius (about 100 farenheit) and I dont know how long before it went back down to about 25 degrees celcius like it was supposed to be.

The day I got back the leaves were very thin and some leaves completely dried out while others were turning yellow.

It grows under a 600w hps and a 400w MH in a 18L pot. The first thing I did when I saw her was water her and transplant her in her 18L pot (she used to be in a 11L).

She grew in the batmix from plagron so I transplanted her in the allmix soil from plagron about 2-3 days ago. I havent fertilised it at all yet.

What I wand to know is if I should wait for more leaves to grow and bigger or can I already put it in 12/12. When I left there were leaves much bigger than the ones she has now but she still looks fine now.

Thanks in advance,

Vrasp

i wouldnt flower a plant that small anyway...i would give it another couple weeks let it hit at least two feet and work on getting yourself a nice flat canopy and some color into the new growth! then flower it

I think it is big enough, what I m worried about is if there is enough foliage to make big buds on each of the 7 branches. I want to harvest it mid march or end of march if possible but for that I should start now. Does anybody else think she needs some time to get bigger/more foliage?

That seems like overkill for that small plant. Yes veg it more and i doubt you need the hps until flowering, then drop the mh, too much heat/light for a plant one foot square.

ya i agree way overkill for light on one plant...i would use some compact flouros for vegging to save electricity and heat issues and then go straight to the hps....then again id never grow just one plant at a time in the first place..inefficient...you think its big enough huh?? well if ya only wanna get like a zip on the plant then ya sure its big enough..your right you need more large fan leaves and no herbilly those wont just come in flowering most of the growth as you set a plant into flowering is stretch and what is leaf is smaller leaves, once you flower good luck adding any larger fan leaves to your plant.

lol no they arent like mine...they are mini versions...you dont have even one leaf that i consider large. so ya in your eyes the large leaves will continue to grow in flowering but guess what, those arent large leaves. you either went straight to 12/12 or grew from clone with too short of veg time or flowered immaturely. the main leaves at the base of each branch would, if vegged long enough, get to be the size of your hand at least and those are the best solar panels for the plant. you grew that thing for at least 6 weeks before it was flowering from what your post says and then yielded what is that a half o? that is so inefficient! i could of just vegged the plant out for 6 weeks from seed and had an awesome lsted 2-3 foot plant with a flat canopy and yield 3 ounces off of the same flowering time so i dont see what your trying to show here..the main large fan leaves do not grow much if at all during flowering, they need to be already established and your plant needs to be hearty before flowering! it also is a straight waste of time and power due to the plants natural capacity for yield based on size to flower anything under about 18 inches or over 4 feet unless you have some serious light penetration

I staggered my plants by not vegging la con she always herms late in flower and I'm trying to seed sour d we've had as clones for 6 years. They were put into flower, topped and tied as soon as roots showed in cubes. Not a routine just did it for kicks. As for projected yield from a plant now 7 weeks in 12/12 no veg easy 1-2 oz per plant 3 dwarfs taking up 18"x24" space. All perfect joint sized buds no popcorn. The sour about 25 days behind -24" should hit 5 no problem thinking 7 in same space. I'm under 400 hps light stays -6" from canopy our theories are similar I just fuck off sometimes.

ok that makes sense..and if you pull two (skeptical ) thats pretty good and worth it since your running something with it..not questioning your skills looks much more full in that pic and def they are all good looking quality wise from what i see. just dont agree with the people who always flower from seed or veg for a week and flower, ive just personally always had better results allowing full maturity before flowering and not pruning large leaves or flowering before they grow to a "full" size and that was all i was challenging! i think his plant at its current size will miss out on alot of yield from not having enough foliage to support faster growth....maybe im ignorant to something here but from my experience bigger is better, and then eventually worst lol

also i know i have alot to learn as well my best yield was on a couple plants that wound up at about 3 zips a piece and they were about 18 inches when flowered about 4 weeks veg and i cant seem to top that but i havent changed my game next grow im going to change some shit up....anyway i still stand by my point just not saying im a better grower than anyone else here..

No worries hard to make sense out of a lunatic. I keep em under 24" and try to keep canopy less than 12" deep anything more is garbage unless the wife makes edibles.
