problem help much appreciated

yo all well i planted 2 seeds in soil after soaking for 6 hours and sank to the bottom of the glass 1 of them sprouted perfect and is fine but the other didnt sprout in a week so i lifted up some of the soil very gently and the root itself is very small and in the middle of it , its like a dark brown but the end of the root is still white and the seed has cracked i just covered it up with a small bit of soil and waterd it a bit should i do anything else do you think this seed wil bounce back or should i just dump it ? could this just be a bad seed or is it something i did ? thanks alot help appreciated ...

Just plant the seed and wait. If it comes up it was worth it - if it does not...it wasn't ;O))

i just put it back ill give it another week and a half if nothings up its in the bin

I'm new and don't s-------t. After Germination a seed for 5 days and nothing, I covered it back up and put a T5 or a Cfl on it. Top poked through next day and it's still going. Hope this helps. U can profile me and check pics if u want.
