Problem, long skinny buds, "fingers" on all plants.

I have done a couple grows now but every time I seem to have the same problem. I thought it was the plants not getting enough co2 but on this latest grow I have an exhaust running constantly so there is airflow. All the plants are growing weird shaped long buds where most of the hair comes out at the tip of the bud. It is hard to show it in a picture but I have attached a few. The top colas are all just spaced apart really long skinny buds. This grow I for sure let the tops get too close to the light but even the bottom were messed up. I have no idea what this is and I have been searching around to determine if its co2 diff, heat problems, light too close, are they hermies? I have literally had this happen every time ive grown and cannot figure it out.

this is whats known as "foxtailing" in this case looks like it was caused from too much heat, and stressed the plants, looks like you over fertilized a little also,I would just flush with water for a couple weeks, looks like the genetics are good and you should still get some quality product.

Well, I was planning to cut it down in less than a week and have been flushing for a few days. the nutrients climbed fast when I didn't check for a couple days and it got out of hand. The next one I hope to not let get so close to the light.. But I am curious, the tent they were in runs at about 80, it was only the tops of the plants that were close to the light and got hot. With that being said, will that still effect the lower buds? They look a lot better but still weird. Id imagine id have a hard time getting rid of this if I were selling it. Though its pretty frosty :P

Thanks for the replies, looking around thats it. I wish I would of posted pictures like a year ago so this wouldn't be a failure. The problem in the past was that you cant use a typical drying plan when its this bad because its so thin and dries too fast. Hopefully this time I can dry it and see if it tastes good and works.

Anyone know if it will still be good smoke?

If you're really concerned about it, I would reccomend putting your weed plants outside in your front yard. Whatever problems you may have had won't be an issue after that.

Seriously though the buds look pretty good, looks like you might have burnt them a bit, they're still gonna get you high!! Good job!

*looks good; "foxtail" could just be a genetic trait for your strain :)
