Problem With 400w HPS

When my light came on today it never got that orange glow to the light. It just looks fluorescent and isn't getting as hot. I touched the ballast (non-digital) and it isn't as hot as normal. I usually can't touch it. It turned it off and back on and it is the same. Any thoughts?

have bulb checked in another socket, or check ignitor..hope this helps? try not to touch bulb with bare hands...just a thought ..

ya if you got fingerprint oil on the bulb it will burn out like that.
check all cords are tight with no cuts
