Problem with Cali Connection seeds stalling

yes, i have had the same problems with the bubba kush. I bought a pack from harborside in oakland. All six germed in a paper towel, planted in soil, and all sprouted. Then after 2-3 days the stem got thin and one by one they collapsed and died. Emailed cali connection, guess what? Yeah, no response. Well i thought old seeds, fluke, ? Bought another pack, out of three seeds, two sprouted. They grew for 2 mos under t-5's and were 4" tall when i threw them in the garbage can! I thought cali had good gear, not from what i see (worst seeds i have seen)!
sounds like bullshit!

The only problems with heatmats, is that it tends to create more males. I always use a heat mat because I almost always get 100% germination rates with it. Germination really only requires that the seeds be above ambient room temps. The problem with the CC seeds is the seeds. The one DeadHead OG is a mutant, it only has cotyledon, no true leaves are developing. I'm going to watch it for a few weeks before I kill it.

2KUSH sorry to say but that is damping off. Too wet and too cold will do it. I had this happen the first time I popped seeds and it was my fault. Root riot cubes have benefical trichoderma in them and I prefer them to RW.

Chuckthapollen is officially the new HazeyGrapes of this site.
Thanks for your reputation comment. It doesn't take much to call somebody stupid like you did to me with an IQ and a badge like yours. Lol

Or.....Could it be you called me stupid for fucking with the feds/dea on these grow forums? Take those hermie seeds, badges and shove them up your fed/dea ass's!

Peace out piggies.....

If you have found that heat mats create more males, why are you using one? I do not know if cc gear is shit or not, but I will not ever use a heat mat again (unless I need it, like it being winter and I am in a cold garage or some out of the ordinary shit). Like someone else posted, if your conditions are right you don't need mat. So, take it a step further. If your conditions are right and you then use a heat mat, then your conditions are no longer right. It's too hot. It's fucking July 25, you need a slight chill mat if anything.
Mine weren't cheap. I bought a few of them, the fucking themostat bullshit that costs more than the mats. Jumpstart frame and small light, all that bullshit. It is sitting on a shelf. Throw them fuckers in root riot cubes. Don't let the cubes dry out.

Woah, did not know heat mats could alter genetics.

Thanks, but the problem was not damping-off.

i had something like this happen but later in growth...i have one bhudda tahoe next to 2 other strains...of the 6 plants its the only one that did this so its not conditions....basically what happened is it grew to maybe 4 inches and was normal and then when the rest took off and started branching out and all the bhudda tahoe was at like 6 inches no branches then 8 inches no branches by this time the others are about 2 feet tall and ready for flowering...so in they all went (because the tahoe was in the same large container) now 3 or so weeks into flowering the other plants have decent little buds started everywhere and little retard tahoe is still 8 inches strong with ten hairs poking out on top lol...i promised i wouldnt disregard cali connect from all the hermie hype or the shit talking so i grew out the freebie..well i got what everyone told me id get, a letdown, so at least i never expected much out of it

try a little b2 if you are germinating.
also you should be throwing seeds in refridgerator for 4 days prior to germination. This helps speed up the cell division upon germination.
