Problem with my 1 month old Brainstorm

My plant has been surprisingly very healthy since it is my 1st time growing. But about 2 days i came home and i noticed that the leaves were turning a yellow color and curling upward. Also the very bottom starter leaves turned completely brown and fell off. My guess after doing my research is a lack of mg. Am i right? And if so what is the best way to fix the problem.

Also when should i start adding nutrients and what is the best product to use.

Thanks for any help.

Yeah sorry but no pics gotta work on gettin a camera.

And yeah it did get kinda cold. I live in New Jersey and the temps have been droppin into the 50's at night and i didnt have the heat on. Could this really affect the plant that much? And will it get healthy again if i get the temps back up?

And to the person who asked. My Brainstorm has been pretty healthy to this point and all 5 of the seeds ive tried have germinated to this point as well. But no i ordered mine off of marijuana-seeds.nl.

I have just harvested BRAINSTORM dutch passion 2/3 weeks ago, had in 4 weeks veg and 8/9 weeks in flower, turned out real nice, got 8 results out of ten all female from fem seeds, they dont like to much food at the start i found, i done mine in hydro and the first time i grew them over fed them abit so the 2nd time around i tonned it down abit, not sure where yous guys are from but take a look at a site called growell for your nuits, most stuff from canna is good, or advanced, most will tell you on the bottle what to use, but i tend to even half what they tell you, its easy to add then to remove i say, also 1 of the biggest mistakes people make is overfeeding plants, the 2nd is lights to close and frying the plants, the 3 is NO AIR FLOW, also you should never have a fan blowing direct onto the plants, let it hit a wall or something then hit the plants, hope this is of som help, BUT PLEASE BUY A BOOK OR MAG AND FILL YOUR HEADS WITH INFO i still do this and ive been growing for 9 years, happy growing brainstorm is cool.

The yellowing of the bottom leaves is fine, those leaves are known as "sucker leaves." As far as the rest of the leaves, theres a few things that could be happening, if they are turning yellow and curling, my guess would be, yes, a deficiency of some sort, but i would lean more along the lines of a nitrogen deficiency. Nitrogen is the main component in a plant that essentially turns them green. If nitrogen can be ruled out, i would say humidity problem, if the plant is not getting proper moisture, then thats a given its going to turn yellow and crumble. Spray the leaves down with a spritzer bottle if you can, but make sure not to over-do it. Thats really all i can think of off the top of my head for the leaves, but as far as the nutes, my personal favorite is bat guano. Bat guano can be bought at most agricultural stores, and its a slow releasing nute, which greatly reduces the chance of a nute burn. And now that i think of it, if your leaves are turning yellow and if you've applied some type of nute to it previously, you could have possibly burned the roots, which would cause a discoloration of the leaves and probably death.

Thats my 2 cents on this one, i hope it helps out, if your still having issues then let me know and send some pictures and ill see if i can help anymore

Often a sudden temp drop w/a draft will cause MY healthy, indoor plants to start turning yellow, in veg, from the bottom up. I know it's the draft/cold because it's the same positioned plants that this happens to.
Yeah, I know I'd oughta get in there and close the draft source, but there's always lots of lights and plants in the way, and it's not s fatal occurrence.

Mr fishy, ik you didnt ask for help but i read what you said, and ive got a suggestion that might interest you.. set it up with the draft. Put a fan on them and control your temp from 75-85 F. This is gonna make the stalks of your plants get bigger, which in turn is gonna create less restriction of flow within the plant of . More flow = more growth, more growth = bigger leaves/buds bigger leaves/buds are going to be used for photosynthesis and the production of chlorophyll.. so what im saying is that your going to create a closed circuit of growth with hardly any work.
