Problems with coco

I’ve been running into issues on and off throughout this grow.
I have never grown in coco before ,I fixed a earlier problem with calmag .
2 tents 1 of them is 4 weeks into flower and is looking alright but I’m running into issues which look like nutrient burn.
Other tent is about 1 week into flower and I feel like it’s turning into a shambles but def can be saved half the tent looks good but 3 plants are falling over and look like they have no strength in the stems.
please help!

Looks like a potassium deficiency to me, but I could be wrong.

Presents similar to nute burn on the tips and serrated edges. The clawing has me leaning between potassium deficiency or nute burn. Considering K deficiency can come from lockout due to unbalanced feeding it can be hard to differentiate.

Couple of different looking issues .
I don’t have pics of the other tent unfortunately, it is mid summer here and have been having some hot weather.
Doing my head in ,never had problems like this before but I’ve never grown in coco before ,it was all they had at the shop when I went there ‍

Are you measuring the pH going in, and running of sufficiently? Most K deficiency I have seen in Coco has come from jacked pH rather than under feeding.

I’ve been checking ph yes ,and keeping it good but I haven’t been testing run off ,I haven’t had much run off ,fabric pots 19 litre .
I’ve been feeding 2-3 litres every 3 days and haven’t had run off .
Coco is a whole new ball game to me and I overwatered at the very start when they were still seedlings so have been sketch on overwatering now .
I’ve always grown in canna terra and never had as many issues as coco .
I’m no professional but have a dece amount of experience.

There's your prob. It's a completely different ball game. Coco needs considerable runoff daily, if not two times a day in flower. I ran 3 gal pots and would put 2 gal through every day. 1 gal in the morn and 1 gal at night. Plants have to be on a riser if in trays, and never let it sit in runoff. Remove the runoff immediately.

Coco can be continuously watered. Even saturated Coco has over 20% air capacity so there is no worry of overwatering.

I'd say you have salt buildup by the loos of it, which could lock out K.

I'd put a considerable amount of Ph adjusted water with a feed strength of around 0.8-1 EC through it until heavy runoff and start feeding daily, at least once, possibly twice.

I run CYCO Full Strength with no run off in coco. If you're running dirty or real salty nutrients then you will need to have run off. It's not a mandatory rule.

I forgot to add I'm using truncheon scale sorry.. should have been mentioned.
Your definately a minority in that respect when it comes to runoff. I'd feed stronger if feeding once a day (I'd say 1.5ec), and if feeding twice a day I'd suggest 0.8-1.0ec.

There's no need to load up nutrients if you don't need to.

no risers just sitting in the trays. If you run shit like Megacrop or jacks you'll need 20% runoff every feeding. With CYCO, H&G, CANNA I haven't needed runoff. Pots are 20 gallon.

Very minimal salt buildup occurs, I do monitor the rootzone EC using a BlueLabs Pulse Monitor and when EC gets above 2.4 I will give plain water to the plants then go back to full strength feed. Never has failed me and I don't need a bunch of plumbing and or expensive plastic drain tables.

I've used risers and still do during the last week where I flush with just plain water. I like to see a lot of run off then but otherwise they turnout great.

That's good to know. I use canna, and if I don't water to considerable runoff, the bottom of the pots are white within a week or two, and pH comes out terrible.

Still doesn't change that you are definately a vast minority here.

What size pots are you running? I had issues with CANNA in larger containers, same with House & Garden. Mainly days inbetween feeding HUGE PH dives as low as 5.1 PH... I ran House & Garden COcos for 2 years before trying CYCO and so far love the stuff. I only run their Silica, Base Grow/Bloom, Potash & Swell though. Every batch I mix ends up in the goldy locks zone of 5.8-6.0 PH.

If you don't run all the bottles and are using RO you will want to increase their Base Nutrients by 20% recommended strength to hit their EC targets on their feed chart.

Tiny pots. Last run, one was a 2 gal plastic, and the other a 3 gal fabric. I wasn't running off sufficiently the first week or so and the fabric pot ended up with a white ring of salts lol.

Ok so if I’ve got a salt building and they locking which I was thinking that they could be locked ,how would get rid of the salt buildup ? So I should be watering everyday?

Just mix up a pH adjusted feed and run it through to considerable runoff. For example, that pic above was locked out and had salt buildup.
