If your growing in soil id say you dont need to feed them every other day, That could be the problem there mate. The leafs start to die off towards the end of flowering, (they turn yellow) as the plant uses all the nitrogen out of them. Just monitor them til you can get some pics up mate.

You don't need to feed them every other day if grown in soil, so we could be looking at nutrient burn here. How often do you water it?

yes iv been growning them in soil, how many times would you recommend i feed them???
i was feeding them every other day as i thought i had to as when i was picking them up they felt light.... is this right??
any idear's on why one of them... the pistons are turning brown?? this early on??? please, and thanks!!

(420bongrips) Thanks for reply!! iv only just watered them once, i have just fed them today... so next time where i would feed them should i just water them instead?? and also, how many timws do you recommend i feed them??? any advise on why one of the pistons are starting to change colour ( brown ) on one plant, could this have anything to do with it, or do you think it is due to something else.???? thanks!!

It sounds like potassium deficiency is your problem. Symptoms appear on indoor plants grown in soils rich in organic material. Could be do to high salinity in some manures or composts used in the soil. This can be treated with any fert that contains potassium. Wood ashes dissolved in water are a good source of potassium. Hope this helps.

hey bud whats up? yup sounds like your plant is getting feed so much you got a nutrient block going on... you only need to feed with your nutes every other watering!!! you should be watering around twice a week and feeding only once a week!! if your potters are drying out quicker than that then you got heat problems. you need to give your plant a good flushing with some PH correct plain ass water. flush with three times as much water as your potters are (3 gal pot. then 9 gal of water or so). a bathtub is the perfect place for that!! then when they dry out in four days feed with nutes and then skip every other watering from then on... hope i cleared a little up for you! if you like my advise please add rep!!!

should i just use wood ashes desolved in water as u suggested and continue with the terra cotta flora feeder??? what do u suggest???

does this sound right!!?

a) Leaves are dark green or red/purple. Stems and petioles may have purple & red on them. Leaves may turn yellow or curl under. Leaf may drop easily. Growth may be slow and
leaves may be small. >> Phosphorous (P) deficiency.

Start with the wood ash (about a teaspoon) first. You should see the red start fading on the limbs in about a week. Flushing your girls is also a great way to clean them out and give them a break from the nutes. I don't know what you're feeding them but fox farm makes a nute trio pack with everything you'll need from seed to harvest. They also have a feeding chart on their web site that'll help. It takes alot to do irreversable damage to the canabis plant. Remeber it is a weed after all. Good luck brother.

Leaves are brown at the tips and spotts in the middle, outside the middle looks to be a faded greeny yellow!! the stems do have veins of red but mostely look to be green, although the branches of the stems are red & purple-ish, and look abit limb, the leaves do look to be small but i thought this may have had something to do with me taking the leaves of to early for the lights to get to the buds at the bottom of the plant :(

i have been using terra cotta flora (feeder)!!!! thanks for your advise i will be sure to do this.
can i ask one more thing, do you no if you give them the overdrive 6 weeks into flowering for the last 2 weeks, before i flush them out to cut them down???
thanks!!

Yeah man even tho overdrive is primarily used hydroponicaly you can use it in soil. It should be used at the peak of flowering, so the last 2 to 3 weeks of flowering would be the peak time to use. Just watch the amount that you use. You don't wanna get nute damage this close to the finish line.
