First seed got helmet head I had to pick it off and it is so slow to grow. ( I didn't plant deep enough)I planted another one the recommend 1/2 inch . My tangerine dream sprung right up but the bubblelicious #2 shed its shell and now is just sitting on top of the soil doing nothing. My other strain have no don't this. Maybe a retarded batch of seed. Anyone having problems with them lately?

I don't remember mine being unusually slow but mine turned out great 2 years ago. Even though I found out I didn't like gum flavored smoke, the weed had a very good high. Different strains are going to grow at different rates so I wouldn't compare it to another strain.

That's why I was asking if anyone had any problems with it. I've never seen any seeds take off this slow

I would assume they were a bad batch of seeds of something. I did exactly the same as I did with the other and they are the only one that didn't make it. They sprouted out the shell then nothing. The first I could understand cause I had to take the shell off but the second one broke ground and just layed their till it rotted! I'm at a lose for word.

I bought Nirvana's Bubblelicious one year ago - 8 out of 9 seeds did not germinate at all. The one that I got going started slowly but turned into one of the top 5 smokes I've ever had; I cloned her before flowering. My second is flowering right now; looking good; smelling like lemon italian ice like #1. They're worth it, not heavy yielders, but my batch was completely fucked up. However, other RIU peeps have great germ and growth rates with their Bubblelicious.

How slowly cause I have the first one still the one that had helmet head but it has not grown any and the part of the stem that I can see is dark brown maybe dark red. I mean small maybe size of my pinkie nail and only say 6 mm tall.image.jpgimage.jpg

I bought 10 regular ceeds from them; so... might be a bubblelicious thing. However, I don't know about that plant man; might not be worth it; it's super super small and if it's not growing from that size then something is wrong. I see where the ceed damaged the cotyledon leaves. I think the biggest problem is lack of humidity - throw a sandwich bag over her for a week, take it off for a couple hours a day if you can; maybe she'll realize she's alive. Also, it could be dead, just sticking out of the soil and looking alive. Meh. GL.

I checked out your viddy; s'cool, I like your diy setup. It reminds me of my own.. but mine is more mad scientist. You've got enough grow space to let that Bubblelicious (props on spelling it correctly) get going. For example, my shitty shitty Strawberry Cough is like an inch tall and maybe a month old; but it will be worth it!

I was going to comment on how you always call your ladies "my babies," until you called them your "big bitches" at the end; either way, I dig it. Also, if you want closer shots; have the camera a little further away and then zoom in, shitty cams can't capture objects from a very close distance. Peace.

I decide to dig it up and the stem was black with no forward progression. I'll just order more. My g-13 x blueberry headband died as well from damping of from the first hot day we had so I gotta get another one of those too!

Cool thanks man I dug her up and she was black. Def dead. I'll just get some more I have to order a new G-13 X Blueberry headband. It died from damping off cause of heat stress. Just not my luck. I still got my Girl Scout cookie , cotton candy and tangerine dream.

You made some dope selections, hah. But actually, nice choices. I think you'd like Super Sour OG (Emerald Triangle), nice sour blueberry w/ a 50/50 high. Also the taste and look of cheesedawg (Big Buddha Seeds) is awesome; the high is a little too indica than I'd like but it glistens like bubblelicious and tastes like sour-cheese (the cheese strain, not actual cheese). Keep up the good work! See you around.

I am pretty sure the shell getting stuck on is the cause. I had this happen 4 or 5 times. They freeze and just won't grow. I noticed 2 little string like things coming out the middle if you look between the 2 leaves

I've got a good bit of Nirvana stock and haven't had any problems. Most problems I have seen is because of my own mistakes like using the wrong soil. Or my soils being too wet for example.
Now I just go to lowes and buy some seed starting soil and put it in a 5 gal bucket and add warm water to it and mix it by hand. I grab the soil and sqeeze it, I want the soil to hold it's shape after I sqeeze it but not to have water coming from it, just good moist soil. Also I like to use styrafoam cups now and I put the soil in the cups and I gently press it in the cups but I do not pack it in because I want the roots to spend energy growing up instead of energy trying to penetrate hard compacted soil downward. Use a pencil that has been sharpened and make a hole in the soil to the end of the exposed wood/ paint starts. This makes it uniform instead of having some seed to shallow and some too deep. Drop your seed into the hole and press the hole together but don't smash it, be gentle with her.
Place the cup in an area where she can't dry out but it doesn't have to be light driven either because they seed doesn't know what time of day it is under dirt.
I just planted a couple hundred cups this past Sunday and last night I came home and 3/4 of em were up this morning every last one of em was up. Not a single one still had it's helmet as it was scrapped off in the dirt. I need to count my prescious's because I planted 5 each and some I planted 10. I know I got Nirvana ICE, White Widow, Medusa, Wonder Woman (this is a badass plant), and a couple of others that I can't think of right off hand. But I got mostly Mr Nice in my cups this year. I'm gonna go on a haze and skunk kick this year lol.
But as far as Nirvana goes I have not had a problem with any of their products. I have had some that start so slow like that like an OG Kush I have had for a while now but that was I think due to the soil being hot and it hit some ferts that was in the soil. And the roots were messed up on it. I replanted it in different soil and several months later it took off. (Ya I have patience ;) I had a KC 45 one time that I planted way to shallow and it didn't shed it's helmet and it was messed up growing. It wanted to grow to one side and only put out leaves on one side, messed up looking. lol anyways I let her be just to see what she would do. After a while she actually started to correct herself and became a very nice plant yielding a decent amount.
Use seed starter soil or soil with no nutes and fine consistent dirt with no sticks, twigs and such in the dirt.
Be patient
Don't fertilize to early and always dilute the ferts to very low levels. I like around 100 or so on the ppm. It doesn't need much when they are young. Just look at her leaves.
Prep the soil correctly and plant at the correct depth.
Don't over water so the soil doesn't develop disease.
Enjoy that herb ;)

Bubbleicious is a pretty crazy strain. I've got my third one close to end of flower and it was a clone from one of the first two I did. Everyone of them have grown completely different. With a few weeks difference in harvest time. The smoke is great. I've grown 4 nirvana strains and they have all been great to work with... here is a pic of a bud from each of the first two bubbleicious plants I did
