I won't put in the size of the yield (no sense stirring shit up again lol) but would love to know what your guess is. 2 inch clone to harvest 43 days. How much do you think the average yield of one of those is times 120. Those plants are at day 30, two thirds of the way thru so will add another thirty percent in yield be harvest. Guesses?

hmmm each 2" clone finishes with about 14 grams is my guess..nice set up and sorry to hear about your loss.

Greetings, Prof. My sympathies on your recent loss. A question: Can I put my autoflower Vertigo babies under 18/6 light after a little hardening to it and leave them until harvest since they are autos? Thanks.

Each clone will give 1.5g - 2.5g x 120, the real question is how much time will each clone get you in fed pen.

u must be a fucking cop.

Hi im new to this growing stuff. I was given 2 1000 WATT HPS light, i live in a duplex and have 1 extra room which i dont use. I was looking to have a setup like yours but ive seen so many different hydroponic system that i dont know where to start. Can you please guide me to success so i can place my money at the right place instead of wasting on the wrong product. Thank you proffessor
Well if i were you i would look into organic soil recipe's instead of going hydroponics
invest in a good ppm meter make your own food as in 20 gallon pail half full of water adding your scraps like potato skins, orange peels , eggs shells anything green etc.
within one week you will have nutrients for through out grow of over 2000 ppm so it will need to be watered back
In organic growing there is no need for worrying about ph as much as hydro
water weekly set your lights up and your off to a great harvest

There is valuable knowledge from allot of members in here but you need to read and weed out the non sense common sense prevails
As a grower now for many years i have learned more is not better as for yield don't let people tell you other wise,What i would would make in 60 - 70 plant grow i make now in 5 plant cheers day 29 flower

I have 2 plants potted in MG and the bottom leaves are turning yellow and dying. Jumping the gun I transplanted from jiffy pots to larger 3 gal pots with the MG soil a week ago. After reading some things around the site I found that the pots are too big and could possibly weaken the root system. Also read mixed reviews on MG so bought some different soil with no additives...Gardeners Pride Its called So my question is.....should I go back to a smaller pots and use the gardeners pride?

Well these being small plants yet. I read that if you put them into bigger pots that the roots have difficult time reaching the moisture they need...could have been BS that I read seems to be alot of it LOL

Yeah, you have to pick & choose the info you get on line, but the long and short of it is that's bull.
All else being equal, Big pots = big plants.

Thank you Mr. Ganja for annswering questions with sound advice. I thought I'd jump back into the mix by talking about this subject. As far as I'm concerned there is no such thing as a "to big of a pot" I've said many times the three things that have a direct impact on your yield are 1. the Strain. 2. the amount of light. 3. the size of the rootball. The roots will travel whyere ever they need to in search of water, they will spread out just under the surface first and then go deeper if needed. Indoors and in soil water management can really impact your crop. Don't over water, make the roots go in search of their water. Deep root with a probe and let them go down for their water. The plant above the surface is a copy of the plant below. A good root system will draamatically increase yields.;

When trying to pollinate I prefer to do it in a controlled environment as opposed to just letting it go naturally. When the pollen sacks are ready to open I take a large plastic bac and place it over the pollen sacks and break them open all the way.

Then you can take that bag and place it over a bud grouping that you'd like to seed and give it a good shaking. That way you can pollinate a choosen bud without getting seeds everywhere. Pretty cool being able to get your seeds and still get buds that are seed free.
Hey professor, sorry to hear about ur loss brotha my thoughts and prayers go out. On the bright side we can change tunes very quick on a forum, so how about a mary jane question. Ok i got 3 w.w plants, all same pot, 2 on the ends turned out to be males, middle one female, i wanna pollonate the female and want to know when to chop the males? Will they be done sooner than the female? If i put 3 other strains in there in about a month will the pollen still get on those plants and produce seeds? If that happens will the strains become X? Can i make some good hash outta those males? And last whats ur fav strain? Thanks for your input i greatly appreciate it man.

The C-4 is my fav right now. There is also ultimate indica, black hash is fun. Plenty of options but C-4 is just mind blowing in everyway. Great avatar, I'll trade lessons ;-)

Hello HYDRO, a major advantage is that if theres a problem you just drain and flush. It becomes harder and harder for me to come up with reasons to be in soil indoors.
So what about using the other soil? Thinking either I have a nitrogen deficiency or the MG is burning up the plants cuz the bottom leaves are turning yellow and dying. I got Blue Mystic in the 1st pic and Big bud in the 2nd
