Promix thoughts

So I've been using Promix for years and until recently never thought about this question. Should I be using hydroponic nutrients and pH schedules with Promix sense it's not a true soil?

What's your take?

I use a peat soilless, Use aqua flakes by house and garden. Ph 6.1-6.3. My uncle uses pro mix same, same.

i use pro mix for many years my friends use promix they use advanced nutrients for soil . i use a cheap miracle grow along with some kmart bloom boosters in a mix chemical fertilizers . never had a issue . yeah i sound stupid . mg yeah right . if you seen what i can do with it your jaw would drop .
