Promix!!

Hey all just wondering if promix alone will get good enough for my autos I'm putting them in 5gallon buckets and there gonna be outside 24\7..or should I mix the soil witl some miracle grow soil aswhell? cause I won't able to access on a daily basis..I was looking at vermiculite I believe is the name and another I forget to try to make a super soil... Any suggestions???

I'd go with a good soil unless you're comfortable feeding seedlings with your nutrient program. There's nothing in Promix to feed the plants.

MG will work, but I don't recommend it.

Get a Happy Frog or Roots Original, or maybe promix for seedlings.

Start in a quality soil and you won't have to feed those babies for about 3 weeks or so. That means all you need to do is water properly and you'll almost be to flower. Feeding nutes at that point is much easier, and less likely to burn the plant.

You don't need to visit daily. If you said that because of watering, good, because you don't want to water daily.

I was gonna try to go nute free only use a nutrient based soil. Miracle grow moisture control says it release nutes for up to 9mths. What about mixing it with pro mix also it might be a guerilla grow so not sure how much access and how often..was gonna go 3 weeks indoor and pop em out side mid may

It would probably grow the plant if mixed, but unless that MG is intended for fruiting plants, you'll likely have issues later in the grow. Like possibly not flowering.

Flowering and fruiting plants have mutiple growth stages with different needs.

You can't go nute free without a living, or supersoil. Promix is inert. Nothing in it.

I seriously suggest you forget about mixing those two.

So mabey best to get a soil for blooming. With time release nutes premixed..

Pro-mix has a 2 week "fertilizer" charge, good just for the very beginning of a baby seeds life.

I would definitely amend with dolomitic lime and perlite. Lime will nutralize the acidic rain and fertilizer, while the perlite will keep the soil from compacting in on the roots.

MG soil and extended fertilizer is not good while in bloom. Fine for veg, but it could delay or hinder bloom as the fertilizer percentages are wrong- that's why normally those extended release ferts are not recommended. I'd go the organic root, and add a bunch of organic nutes/compost/etc for the long grow season. An organic soil mix would probably work too, but not for baby's so start them elsewhere and then plants into the mix after a few weeks.

Lastly, water could very well be your biggest issue, especially in July or August, but also insects and deer are a possibility too.

I think Pro Mix dries out too fast outside. I would mix it with something if you aren't going to tend them every couple days.
